LISTING OF TRADITIONAL MASSES WHICH HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY LEGITIMATE AUTHORITY

REPUBLIC OF THE SUDAN

There are no traditional Latin Masses in the Sudan. The Roman Rite consists of two provinces and is especially well-established in the Christian south of the country.  Possibly the only traditional Masses celebrated are those of the Greek-Melchite Catholic Church, which operates churches under a Patriarchal Vicariate of Egypt and the Sudan and is based in Alexandria, Egypt (q.v.)
