Sections A & B: There are no indult masses in the Diocese despite the
submission of a formal request. Apparently, the Bishop of Savannah believes that he should
not implement the will of the Sovereign Pontiff unless it has been ratified by votes of
his priests. There was a time when bishops followed the will of the Holy Father not
because they were required to do so but because they wanted to help the Successor of St.
Peter in his loving mission to "feed the sheep".
Special Note to the traditionalists of Savannah: our prayers are with you. If any one of
the Eastern Rites establishes a church or mission in your area, we shall endeavour to post
its address particulars as soon as possible thereafter.
