Four Women West is a wonderful readers theatre-type play where monologues and off-stage voice dialogues tell the life stories of four very different women who headed west to see what life had to offer them out there. The fifth woman in the play is Native American and was already west not headed west which is where the difference lies in the numbering.

The main characters are Calamity Jane, Eliza Snow, Elinore Pruitt Stewart (I'm the one in the white pinafore), Baby Doe, and Kate Bighead.
