FELICIA is a 26" porcelain doll (without her hat!). She is an exquisite creation of a reproduction of the famous "mystery" doll marked only with a size number and an "H". The face shape, body and workmanship of an H doll do not resemble that of any other doll. The pierced, applied ears are a unique design. They are made separately from the head and attached after the head is removed from the mold. Felicia has curly blonde hair. Her elaborate costuming is reminiscent of the best of the French Doll dressmakers. Her lavender (to match her eyes) tafetta Jacket sits on top of a skirt that is made of just layers and layers of creamy lace. Interspersed among the layers of lace are groups of hand-formed lavender rosettes. Her hat is a huge pouf of matching tafetta and lace. An extra special touch is her elaborately trimmed hatbox purse. Her hose are lace and the shoes also have floral trim. Pictures don't do her justice, but that seems to be true with most of Patricia Loveless' dolls!
