The Composer Report is a P.I.G. activity. This means you may complete the report with a Partner (P), Independently (I) that is by yourself, or with a Group (G) of no more than 3 people. If you complete the project with a partner or a group, everyone receives the same grade. Please ask questions well in advance of when your report is due.

Try to find a piece of music to include as well as pictures. You will use the form for notetaking. Please note that the notetaking guide does not include all the information you will need.

**EXTRA CREDIT**  Find a cassette or CD of your composer's music and play it for our class. Please do not purchase a piece of music just for this report. Borrow music from a friend, library, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Research a composer and complete note taking sheet
• Create a poster using the information you found
• You may print any label, but written information needs to be typed or written with a pen and using cursive. You should have 1-2 pages of written material attached to your poster.
• DO NOT PRINT FROM THE INTERNET OR COPY FROM A BOOK. YOU MUST USE YOUR OWN WORDS.
