Psychology of Magick

Ask yourself any of the following questions:

Have you ever been emotionally/verbally abused?
Have you ever been physically abused?
Have you ever been sexually abused?
Have you lost a loved one or a friend?
Have you been feeling depressed or lonesome?
Do you have an addiction? (for example: drugs)
Do you want to make someone feel guilty?
Are you extremely jealous of someone?
Do you feel an extreme fear about someone?


If any of the above questions are answered "YES" it is likely that you practice Magick.  I myself have answered YES to some of the questions above.  Most of us find that magick is a way that leads us to more power.  If you are looking for power, you should not be practicing magick at all.  Magick is not about getting more power, it is about getting a closer relationship with God.  Most of the times we escape our reality and rely on magick to solve our everyday problems.  You should only rely on magick 33.3% because you need to rely on your body (33.3%) and your mind (33.3%).  Magick should not be used to serve as a panacea to all problems because if you do that, you are shutting down your mind and body.  A person who practices magick should also pay attention to his mental and physical aspects of life, not just the spiritual. 

Before relying on magick, see if you fix the problem without using magick.  If you feel that you are in a heavy crisis ~ go ahead and use magick, but you should also use your body and mind with the same effort.  For example: Invoke the desired spirit, ask for what you need, Meditate, Excercise, talk to people about your problem, consult someone with higher knowledge about the subject, and of course think of what you are doing.  By doing this, you will attack the problem with a high success rate.
