Chapter XII: The Sesemann House is Haunted
Every night they closed and locked the front door at the Sesemann house.  Every morning it stood open!  At first they thought someone broke in and they counted the silverware.  But nothing was missing.

Everybody was afraid.  They thought it was a ghost.  Sebastian and Johann tried to catch the ghost.  But they fell asleep.  Fraulein Rottenmeier wrote to Herr Sesemann and asked him to come home.  Herr Sesemann and the Doctor stayed up and caught the 'ghost'.
