Poetry type: Variation of the Haiku

A poem consisting of three lines with thirteen syllables. There are 5 syllables in the first line, 3 syllables in the second line, and 5 syllables in the third line. These poems may be just about anything, but are usually serious in nature.

3rd line 5 syllables

Additional Information:

Another form of the Lune, especially good for children, uses 3 words in the first line, 5 words in the second line, and 3 words in the third line.
