There's not a hat I haven't tried,
Everything seemed to be supplied.
Baby, toddler, child, teen,
Even had time to build self esteem.
Infantile woman, friend, lover,
Never a need to mimic others.
Singer, artist, poet, writer,
How could days be any brighter?
Student, teacher, retail owner,
Threw in the towel at business corner.
Mother, grandma, devoted wife,
Dare I ask more from this great life?
If I should find life slowing down,
Rests not with me, just this Old Town.
