Dreams About Tomorrow Dreams

As my dreams turn into fears
As my night turns into day
As I sit and softly weep
As I fall from where I lay
As I watch the rain come down
As I see through tear drenched eyes
As the crying drowns out sound
As the beauty slowly dies

With these words I hold so dear
With the power I possess
With the name, so sacred still
with the pain, grows less and less

My eyes do see the pain
My body feels the heat
The sound, dreadfully loud
The taste, sickeningly sweet

The world dissolves the hate
The world dissolves the love
The world grows quicker now
The world I left above
