Bihar Battle-field, Alive

Friday, February 11, 2000.

I did not take Bihar's boss of all bosses, Laloo Prasad Yadav's caustic comment lightly on BJP boys' "Criminal Raj." For heaven's sake it is like a kettle calling a pot black. He is the ultimate criminal politician, bar none.

However, in a country where criminals contest the political elections behind bars and win Laloo's criminality may not amount much, not much is left said about his peculiar political shenanigans either. He survives and may revive his own criminal empire if the opposition proves unequal to his political intrigues. Survival of the fittest is Bihar's mantra to the republic of India.

Sudden capitulation of saffron boys over two contentious issues have given me a strange feelings that they see this local battle as supremely important and do not want to muddy the waters, not the Deepa Mehta's kind of movie, 'Water,' you silly, the hot waters they find themselves over the constitutional review and allowing the banned RSS to be ushered in the state government bureaucracy of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

So far so good and I noticed the urgency to drop those politically hot potato issues in favor of glamorous middle of the road travel for the battle fatigued Brahmin bozos like Ram Prakash Gupta, et al. Ram Prakash Gupta, a bungling chief minister of the largest Indian state of Uttar Pradesh has been deluged, not with the holy river Ganges water, you silly, the movie 'Water.'

The fella is losing three ministers, not BJP ministers though as they are complaining lesser than honorable treatment meted out to them in Gupta's coalition government. The holy river Ganges, usually full of half burned cadavers and other suspect fecal material along with pious Shiv Sena goons may find some unexpected company in Gupta's political water ingested balloon like body if things do not change. He is universally despised, according to India Today report, already quoted by me and others.

What makes the second largest electorate carry such an aura of unbelievable poll violence is a question for which there is no answer. Elections in these part of the political jungle are always violent. People die for what they perceive as the threat from the opponents and the same rationale is used by the opponents to justify their own brand of violence. None takes peace seriously.

Bihar was a playground for the Gautama Siddhartha, later recognized as the founder of Buddhism. Emperor Ashoka like major warriors and empire builders came from this land. They are not to be found anywhere. The Buddhism has been a thing of the past so is Mahatma Gandhi's politically incorrect but very genuinely honest policy of non violent struggle for the people's wishes.

The contrast is made more acute as none denies their glorious history, not even our desperate resident rodent historian, Sudheer Birodkar. However, no one cares to learn from the history either, maybe, Encyclopedia Britannica editors do.

The history of internecine wars are never highlighted by the Sudheer Birodkar like thieves. They want only the good parts of history to be venerated and the bad parts to be avenged by cheating and lying about the history.

When these rascals go ga-ga over the glory of Hinduism, they keep Laloo Prasad like criminals unmentioned but Lal Kishen Advani like similar criminals made into icons, in my opinion, 'India's Cons,' as in criminals.

Politics has more tolerance for the criminals and as they say and I agree that the politics is a last resort of the scoundrel, India is no exception to that age old rule. As long as they don't commit murders and mayhem in the name of democracy, I don't even care what crimes they commit.

The crazy cycle of crimes does not stop at the polling booths, that is the major drawback. The criminals manage to keep their own criminality out, away from the clogged court system and manage to remain respectable in their role as people's representatives. Laloo does that kind better than others. People just love him.

Of Messiah and Mafia

Friday, February 11, 2000.

I think it is no secret when I call the prime minister of India, a sovereign country of one billion people and a long and lasting record of multi cultural society and multi faceted religious diamond the size of Kohinoor, size of a fist, my brother I mean it in the truest sense of love, admiration and an awe.

I am amazed at this simple man's bravery, the moral strength to lay the law to all those feces fascists, make it fucked up, fake, faggots of feces fascists from the top, Rajendra "Rajju Bhaiya" Singh down to two timing RSS shit shoveling boys and girls.

The laws of morality and spirituality are bigger than the laws you can think of. Gautama Buddha, Lord Mahavir, Guru Nanak, Sai Baba of Shirdi and all those common and uncommon men and some women stressed beyond the shadow of doubt the need to understand the inner spiritual power over the mundane materialistic and unrealistic power of mass mayhem in the name of religious bigotry, unjust demands on the society and atavistic attitudes as witnessed with the rise of fascism of Hindu kind in recent years.

What makes a man like Atal Behari Vajpayee scratch the eyes of all those who make him a prime minister and afford him the choicest accolades and shower on him the praises equivalent to a deity? That which we all possess but are not aware of. The human spirit which knows no discrimination, humiliation of the lesser beings, perpetual strife in the society for the wrong reasons, hatred of the neighbors who choose the beliefs different than yours, act in a fashion not approved by the majority community members.

Spirit knows no such man made anti human tendencies, though, having such tendencies is so typically humans. We are all sinners and unless we accept the majesty of the truth, another name for god, another symbol of the true human spirit, the spirit of equality, love and brotherhood among the nations.

Jesus Christ as a vocal rebel accepted the truth and paid for this truth with his own suffering and died on the cross like a common criminal but did not choose to denounce those who hated him and his message of peace. In other words Jesus the Jew became a Messiah.

The messianic powers can be had for asking provided one is ready to be sacrificed at the altar of truth. Who is telling the truth and who are perpetuating lies? Atal is telling the truth that no country, no people, no culture and no religion of any value can survive with vengeful, venomous attitudes of the few. If those few happened to wield power over the others it becomes even more pertinent to evaluate the truth.

RSS and their handpicked rascals want nothing but a total destruction of that culture they sing high holy praises of, the Hindu culture. The blind cannot see and I cannot blame blind person's lack of vision. These blind bastards are not blind, nor are they so dumb as not capable to see the truth. The truth which a little boy saw in a story of a naked emperor. The truth that a poor Jesus saw and accepted. The truth that Mahatma Gandhi saw and died at the hands of hateful RSS boys.

Thanks to the Indian Express dated February 11, 2000.
