The assassination is linked to a fact that Mahatma Gandhi tried to restore peace in Noakhali where rampant criminal acts of mass murders became unbearable to the new Indian government. Since Mahatma Gandhi had some kind of moral power, nothing to do with the power of the Nehru government he chose to pacify the agitated Muslims and frustrated Hindus of that Bengal province. He did succeed in restoring the normalcy. I don't think that act of valor can be termed as appeasement.
The second item was the transfer of the state treasury funds, some fifty-five million rupees to Pakistan as they had no reserves and needed their fair share rather urgently. Any number of arguments can be made as to why such funds not be delivered according to the formula which was agreed upon.
There were cases of Sindhi Hindus being uprooted from their homes and being sheltered in temporary tent camps. There could be cases of genuine property seizures by the Pakistan government which did not fit any formula. The fact still remains as to why that money be held over till all disputes were settled.
The Kashmir dispute is still not settled. Babri real estate dispute between two private parties is still making the rounds in the courts. Lallu the criminal kallu is still free though cases are pending against him. The argument to hold the money back as a security deposit was not valid then and not valid now.
The "Akhand Bharat" ruse is thrown in by Nathuram Godse and his Poona Brahmin rascals is the main issue. These RSS rascals wanted to turn the pages of history and deny all previous solemn commitments that created free India in the first place. There was some give and take. Some may say there was more "give" than take. They are right. The fancy notion of "Akhand Bharat" undivided India was a fancy which would never see the day light no matter how many Mahatma Gandhi were sacrificed to achieved that goal.
There is no such thing as "Akhand Bharat," period. British, at the zenith of their reign held only forty-five percent of the territory and the remaining territory which consisted of small and large princely states and Tribal nations' own lands being taken care of with the separate British protective powers.
The princely states were as a result of breaking of the Maratha and Mughal dynasties. Some had Muslim rulers and some had Hindu rulers but the population of those princely states varied from Muslims and Hindu and Tribals. Tribals are not Hindus, not now or ever. They have their own religious beliefs, some times polluted by the Hindu neighbors or the landed gentry who slipped their beliefs on to gullible Tribals.
If this is the picture of British held India at the time of the freedom which India these rascals are talking about? They are talking about a fictitious country where Hindus are in majority, overall, not in the separate sections which decided to move away from this fictitious Hindu India. Those Muslims opted to remain in Hindu India are never thanked, never acknowledged as the ones who chose Hindu rule over the Pakistan Muslim rule.
I have heard the RSS arguments and Nathuram's personal deluded arguments and they are the same. The rationale for the RSS' assassination, though carried out by the brazen Poona Brahmins, cannot sustain under the close scrutiny. Which India they want? Feces fascist fake India, that is what they wanted and that is what they are not getting, though they are trying hard to find such a fictitious country.
