Ch 27, 29, 30

Ch 27,29 David is despairing so much so that he thinks so deeply that he may perish at the hand of Saul thinking it would be better for him to live with the Philistines enemies of God. He eventually lied about his mental condition and even brought shame to God

Ch 30 David: serving God, went to avenge the Israelites attacked the Amalekites: Gen 14:7, Exod 17:8, Deut 25, I Sam 15 (Saul was supposed to annihilate them but didn't)
