Many Ideas clashed during the Apartheid. The world had already moved past segregation and have been trying to have world peace and equality. In most areas equality had already been established and when South Africa started separating and segregating between blacks and whites. Whites got all the good land and resources while the blacks lived in slums and had to do hard manual labor just to keep themselves fed. The only reason this continued against all the optimists of the world is because South Africa had an army to back up their ideas and nobody thought that segregation was worth going to war over.

Cooperation and Conflicts During the Apartheid

Many conflicts have happened over the segregation that started in South Africa. The conflicts not only happened out of the country but also within it. For many years blacks had to live in fear that the police would come and get them. For if they were caught they were to be transported to new homelands, there they would be to work or not get fed. In the beginning of the apartheid many blacks believed that they were getting special treatment and that these "home lands" were to be new and prosperous for them and willingly were transported.
