The I Ching states:
"if one man asks about enlightenment, and another answers, neither of them
knows." ,but still attempts to teach of it. So others follow the
path, and reach out with this unknowable knowledge towards others...
The Dancing Wu Li Masters is one of the most sucsessful attempts I have ever had the pleasure to read.
The book is purely a guide to the world of quantum physics. The implications of what the wests's rational hard
science is begining to grasp, however, has the power of the most mystical of spiritualities.
In language simple enough for common readers to understand, Zukav explains the incredible complexities
of the new discoveries made as science realized it had to take the whole into account to grasp the true dynamics
of any occurence. In the process, we hear physicists talking
of subjectivity, non-causality, and matter as patterns of organic energy.
Often, the reader is presented with the 'new science' veiws of matter as action or its interconection of all, wondering if it would be possible to determine if the quotation were of Bhudda or Niels Bohr.
While refering to the cycles of matter and energy and the infinitous universe they indicate, Zukav tells us
"(reports) from gurus in the east and LSD trippers in the west
ought not, prhaps ,to be discarded preemptorily." "...
If this does not sound like rational science to you, that is merely one more reason to read this book.
