1. On what day was the feast? This feast was six days before the Passover. It would have probably been either Palm Sunday or the day following, and it was the final week before He would die.
2. On what day was the triumphant entry into Jerusalem? Palm Sunday.
3. Who was at the feet of Jesus? Mary sat at His feet and anointed Him for His death.
4. What was the concern of Judas Iscariot? Judas was bothered that she had wasted the ointment. He told them that it could have been sold and the proceeds used to help the poor.
5. What was the response of the Chief Priests to Lazarus? They wanted to put him to death also because many people believed on Jesus because of him.
6. What was the concern of the Pharisees? They saw that the world was going after Jesus because of Lazarus’ miracle. There could have been as many as two million people at the Palm Sunday celebration.
7. Who were the Greeks? These Greeks could have been saved Gentiles, Galilean Jews who spoke the Gentile language, Greek philosophers, or Monolithic Greeks. It is important to note that Andrew brought the Greeks to Jesus. He was always bringing people to Jesus.
8. Why did the Greeks seek Jesus? They were there to worship Him.
9. Who were secret believers (v. 42)? Many Jews believed on Him, but they would not confess Him for fear of being kicked out of the synagogue.
