Heidi Kasner - Believes "Life Is Learning"

On her first visit as a guest she was asked if she would participate in Table Topics. She said "Yes" and walked away with the winning Table Topics ribbon.

Accepting a challenge is not unusual for Heidi Kasner -it's in line with the philosophy she expressed in her ice breaker on July 3, 1997: "Life is learning." Something can be learned from every experience in life, she claimed.

Her three favorite lessons in life, she outlined in the 4 to 6 minute speech were;

    1) Pay attention;
      2) Don't do what you think other people want you to do, do what is comfortable for you; and
        3) Don't believe everything everybody tells you.

Heidi is a management consultant who develops and presents workshops that help businesses incorporate a sense of humor at work and teaches participants how to have fun.

She was reared in Oregon, moved to the Valley when she was sixteen, attended ASU and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting. For entertainment? Heidi likes the entertainment world.

Heidi demonstrated an amazing proficiency at juggling during her ice breaker as she illustrated one of her three favorite lessons: "Don't believe everything everybody tells you."

She was told that learning to juggle would make her successful in life.

She has been out of school for three years, she says, and no one has hired her to juggle
