The Blessed Hope -- What Then?

Disease and famine naturally follow war. New diseases rise to replace those suppressed by man's drugs, often giving rise to new problems of addiction. Even with the incredible amount of knowledge available with computers, etc. we will never be able to control our problems apart from God. Knowledge without God is void. Only when His principals, morals and instructional standards are applied can ‘knowledge' be converted to wisdom. The world will remain blinded; however, Christians are not expected to remain blind. "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness that that day (Christ's Second Coming) shall overcome you as a thief." 1 Thess. 5:4. Study of God's Word enlightens us to why we suffer, why the world is full of injustice and why man cannot overcome his very most fundamental problems. To many, the truth of the latter days of this age presents a doomsday picture, a scenario no one wants to face. But, to those who have come out of darkness there is no fear of doom, for we realize that these things must come to pass exactly as God has laid down in His Word. His Second Coming will happen just as precisely and literally as His First Coming fulfilling hundreds of prophecies just as He has foredetermined. The "Blessed Hope" of His Coming offers with it the comfort that the Millenial Kingdom of God's government on earth will immediately follow the tribulation of these days. The nations of the earth will be healed and His Kingdom will reach to the corners of the universe.

The signs mentioned in this message surely only touch on the vast amount of information God has made available to those who search for that hidden treasure of truth. I believe that we are suppose to pray, study and watch for His Coming: "Watch ye therefore and pray always that you may be worthy to escape". Luke 21:36 He has added that men can discern the weather, but not the signs of the times in referring to those scoffers and doubters that are "willingly ignorant" of what is happening on earth.

Please consider receiving Christ as your Savior now. The reward is great. That reward is manifest first in the Millenial Kingdom over which Christ will rule, followed by a New Heaven and a new earth wherein God himself shall dwell among us for life eternal.
