LETHARGY

Let’s not shed tears for the follies of man.
                                        Denied the satisfaction of reaction,
how futile then the madmen’s temper tantrums?

Let’s let the madmen rage at one another,
scaring the weak-minded to fight and kill,
to stand behind their madmen burning bright.

Out pops the weasel/madman shouting boo!
to make us jump high up and ring the bell,
signaling the bombardment of our world.

But if our world, so dear, is sold so cheap,
then let’s not shed a tear; we’ll go away,
and have no more to do with screaming madmen.
