Tenders Heart MY HEART My feelings for you only one person knows Just how deep my love actually goes I know and feel the pain I bare Whenever I know your not near... I feel the tears as they wash from my face I know I say things in such haste But, you got to understand Just what it is I go through... Not having you near, When I need you here I get a little crazy My mind sometimes gets a little hazy... When I'm spending so much time alone I think of the times we spent together Smiling of each and every joyful thing we've shared Such as the hawks we sighted above in the air... For the time in the sunshine And the time we spent inside due to the pouring rain Watching your eyes as you viewed the dogwood blooms As we drove up and down the lanes... As we walked through the bottom land upon the freshly plowed sod For every step we saw the beauty of the land as we softly trod I know I've made many a blunder I never tried to think or wonder... What my reactions cause me to do But, I know my heart belongs to you I can't explain in words I need Just what it is you mean to me...
