BA (Hons.) in Bengali
The objective of the BA Honors program in Bengali is to equip students with sound foundation in Bengali language and literature and develop their academic knowledge and skill in the filed of arts and letters. The courses of BA Honors program are so designed with the co-operation of eminent and experienced academicians in the relevant field that after completion of the program the student will be able to become an efficient scholar and teacher in the field of Bengali language and literature.
Besides the major area of concentration, there are some courses from a general inter-disciplinary body of knowledge that will prepare the students to adjust to the reality of contemporary world facing multi-dimensional issues.
