Hyperion and the Family
- Hyperion
- A titan, son of Uranus and Gaea, and by Thea, the father of Helios (the sun), Selene (the moon), and Eos (the dawn). Hyperion was conceived of as being of radiant and matchless beauty and splendor.
- Helios
- The god of the Sun, son of the Titan Hyperion.He drove the chariot across the heavens every day and floated back in a golden cup on the ocean. He represents the physical manifestations of the Sun.
- Eos
- The goddess of the dawn. Daughter of Hyperion and Thea, and the mother of Astraetus by a mortal man.
- Selene
- The goddess of the moon. Daughter of the Titan Hyperion and Thea.
