In the Monsterrolle for the Cape taken at the end of May 1657 there is a person by the name of Jan Jacobsz and his place of origin was Rijnsburg, he was listed as a 'hooploper'.
Woordenboek der Nederlandsche Taal gee die volgende beskrywing:
HOOPLOOPER, z.nw. m. Eene, thans verouderde, benaming voor eene klasse van
mindere schepelingen. ... Deze (t.w. matrozen en soldaten) volgen de Hooplopers
of half wossen brazems van zestien tot achtien jaren out. Dees doen mannen werck,
en verdienen weinig meer als jongens. ... hooploper of jongmatroos.

Reinsberge Mountains and Castle Reinsburg
The highest elevation
of the Reinsberge south of Arnstadt is the Halskappe on which stands Castle
Reinsburg. Only low wall ruins remain of the largest of all the Gera castles.
It is probably a Käfernburg foundation and had to protect the trade and
military routes in the Gera valley and the Wipfra valley. In the second half
of the 13th century it was occupied by robber barons. In 1289 it was attacked
and destroyed by Rudolf von Habsburg.
The Reinsberge mountains that were created glacially from rock of the triassic
period remain a special natural landscape.
