Herbs and Runes
Yet another method of combining magical
correspondances comes from the melding of herbs and runes. These
can be used in a number of creative fashions; tracing the rune
out with the herb indicated, in the form of a talesman bag
filled with the herb and embroidered with the rune, mixing the herb
into a play clay dough and inscribing the rune onto a disc of this
clay. My favorite use is to ring a candle that has been inscribed
with the rune in the corresponding herb. With imagination,
you will be able to come up with other applications.
