A Separate Reality
Further Conversations with Don Juan
Carlos Castaneda 1971

This is the second book, and like the first one it puts some emphasis on the drugrelated experiences.

Contains alot of essential stuff:

-The 'darkness of the day' is the best time to see.
-The will is what makes a practitioner continue to live although he/she knows that everything is equal and thus unimportant.
-The controlled folly is everything a sorcerer do and everything he appears to be. The ally is not part of the controlled folly, nor is Mescalito.
-Alot about seeing.
-A warrior knows that he is waiting and what he is waiting for (his will).
-A warrior uses death as an advisor.
-If a body farts, it's alive.
-About 'luminous egg'.
-Morning is a bad time for sorcerers.
-Seing is not the same for everyone.
-Death enters through the belly.
-Only as a warrior can one survive on the path of knowledge.
-Seing without being a warrior makes one meek.
-The warrior selects the items which makes his world (shields).
-A path with a heart is defined by the shields the warrior chooses.
-The internal talk makes us repeat the same choises until we die.
