Journey to Ixtlan
Carlos Castaneda 1972

This book is in two parts, the first part is a return to the first years which is described in the first book. It contains subject which Castaneda thought were of less importance when he wrote the first book. This is the first 'drug free' book, although some events are described close after or between some drugrelated events from the first book.

It is possible to read this first part of the book together with the 'Teachings of don Juan' and by following the dates shift between the two.

Techniques described in this first part of the book includes:

Erasing Personal History
Loosing self importance
Death as an Advisor
To be Unavailable
Not-Doing

The second part is a continuation of the second book, and contains description of when Castaneda 'stopped the world' and don Genaros story of his eternal Journey to Ixtlan.

All in all this is one of the more important books.
