Greetings,
Thank you for sending me your letter. Here I wish to share some thought
concerning movements of the assemblage point. If you feel it is worthy
of posting on your site, then you may do so.
After many years
of pondering all the books by Carlos Castaneda, I have come to the conclusion
that the assemblage point is the most important aspect of Mr. Castaneda's
books. Having had only one true, willed, movement of my assemblage point,
does not make me an expert on this matter but has given me profound proof,
and insight on the assemblage point. {I will narrate this event, later}
A shift of one's assemblage
point is a shift that stays near the original spot. A movement being a
shift that is far from the original spot. If one, lets say.....has a minor
shift.....the view of your self and the world..will remain, though the
new view will be slightly differant. A movement will drastically alter
the view of yourself and our known reality. I found that experiencing a
major movement, was quite unsettling and like nothing i could have ever
imagined. I lost all my sense
of being human
and yet i was aware......At first i did not know what i was "seeing".....i
stared hard,in front of me ..........thinking my eyes? would come into
focus. Something then came to focus...the only way to describe this is
to say that i saw/felt layer upon layer of very intense of colors {all
the colors of the spectrum.} These layers were wavy and moved...yet seemed
massive and far away....they were quite beautiful. Awestruck i turned my
attention on my self.....another shocker!.....i was glowing very bright
in wo distinct colors of blue and white. I was also layered but in very
tight, thin layers. I "saw", sensed that I am tombstone shaped.......what
unsettled me , was that i felt that i was an inch thick! I saw no ground
below me......i looked back out......i tried to move.....i felt i was being
propelled, upward. I was heading for one of the layers of color. Feeling
the top of me budge into a crevice, I stopped moving. The budge was the
top of my skull! I found my self back in my bedroom, sitting on the floor,
four in the morning!
Though this is an incomplete
narration of that special day for me.........I came back with no doubts
anymore about the things Carlos Castaneda writes about. Don't waste your
time doubting! get to work on mastering your assemblage point now!
