| 1. Why all the spelling/grammatical
errors?
What errors? No, really, I am very thankful for all help I can get, please keep correcting me! Errors of all kinds (spelling, grammatical, semantical and factual) creep into a page of this size, and they are hard for me to find. No, I don't put them there on purpose. 2. Why won't you put any references to the great psychologist/philosopher XXX? Psychology is an interesting science about the Ego, and the machinery which governs our 'normal' everyday behavior. The purpose of magic and practice is to develop Will, not to act as an exotic kind of therapy. The powers of the psychological apparatus is not to be underestimated, it can totally break a human if it does not work correctly, but the workings of the Will is superior. Psychology can, however, be an interesting aid in Recapitulation, and towards self knowledge. Philosophers have a nasty tendency to discuss things which does not exist, like the meaning of life, the omnipotence of god, 'subject' versus 'suchness', the definition of art etc etc... Philosophers do not tend to live the way they taught. 3. How can anyone be interested in this crap? Castaneda is bogus, it has been proven by XXX! This is a question of beliefs, and this is a special subject in castanedianism. To read mystical litterature and believe everything one reads is sloppy. No one asks you to do that. That would be nothing more than common religious messianic sectarian behavior (my football team is better than yours), and this belief is bound to be frail. Practicing mysticism is about attaining direct knowledge by firsthand experience. If you know, how can anyone say it is not true? To read XXX and then believe that Castaneda is bogus, just means that one has exchanged one belief for another, and started to follow XXX instead of following Castaneda. -Don't do either! Go your own way! That's the mystics way... 4. Is Castaneda dead? Yes, according to all available information, he died in may 1998. His death was made official nearly three months later, in june 1998. He died from cancer in the liver. He was creamated, and his remains brought to Mexico to be spread in the desert. Cleargreen, the official Castaneda website, had another story; that he burned from within, like his teacher don Juan. 5. Have Castaneda found a successor? Not to my knowledge, no. And it wont be you (sorry). 5. Why no references to Terrence McKenna and other 'modern gurus'? I don't want to promote drug use on this site. Drugs is a subject which brings attention for all the wrong reasons. I do admit, however, that McKenna have some interesting points (and a beautiful webpage). 6. Why are there no updates to this site? Is it dead? Can you notify me when there is an update? No, the site is not dead, I am just sloppy and lazy (and I'm quite busy).
I cannot notify you when it is updated. Perhaps if the demand is great
enough, I will find a way to administer it, but I doubt that it will ever
happen. Unless some genius tells me how to do it easily...
7. Are you a Fool? Yes... (Did anyone ask this question? Yes...)
