| The Luminous Egg, or Luminous Cocoon is what in other traditions
vaguely is called the 'Aura', although the descriptions are not particulary
similar. It is the energy body of all living beings, organic and inorganic.
The lumonous cocoon encloses a specific number of the Eagles Emanations.
On the surface, or close to the surface of the energy body there is a bright
spot, usually of the size of a tennis ball, the Assemblage
Point. This spot 'lights up' emanations inside of the cocoon, and when
these enlightened emanations inside of the cocoon matches emanations on
the outside, perception occurs.
One description of this is that the Eagles Emanations (or commands, or intent) resembles strays of hay, and the luminous cocoons are like rings or pearls which bundles a number of these strays together. Different living creatures bundle somewhat different strays of the emanations. It is obvious that this is impossible to view (imagine) three dimensionally. The emanations is at the same time on the inside of the cocoon and on the outside of the cocoon. At the same time there are, of course, billions of living beings, each having a energybody encapsulating a specific number of the bands of the emanations, and at the same time they are 'free' to move (or to be moved) within the percievable universe (at least within some confined space, like the surface of the Earth...). Features of the Luminous Egg There are a number of interesting features on the luminous cocoons of living beings. Most notably is the assemblage point. Secondly we have the 'soft spot' on the 'belly' of the cocoon, where the will extends and into which death enters. Human beings normally 'close' this soft spot when they grow up, but sorcerers try to reopen this spot. When this is done, will 'happens' to them (sorcerers know what they are waiting for; they wait for their will...). The emanations comes in several hues. While the colour is described by Castaneda (and don Juan) as being amber, it may be of whitish, yellowish, chartreuse or even of a bluish hue. Also the cocoon in itself may be seen to be of different colours. The |
