How do a solitary practitioner verify that Castaneda, or any one else for that matter, is telling us the truth about what they have experienced and not just some romantic babble to make themselves rich, or to make themselves feel important? This is the question of verification, a rather boring matter, but nevertheless an important one for a serious practitioner. Many people spend alot of time trying verify Castanedas writings for themselves, while others find the task far to arduous.
