Dear Editor:

I can hardly believe the hatred and slander in Justin ------'s article in the Nov. 24 edition of the paper. I quote, "Give everyone another 10-15 years then we start shooting. It seems to have worked for the pro-life movement."

Surely everyone by now knows that no responsible person in the pro-life movement in any way gives approval to the murderous shootings that have occurred. Nor has it been proven that pro-life poepl are behind this. This irresponsible slandering of the whole movement merely demonstrates Mr.------'s hatred for pro-life people and their values.

And then we have ------'s proposal about shooting people who do not approve of homosexuality. Sadly there will be readers who will try to defend Justin for his fascist comment. Mr-----, a member of your board of directors, has disgraced himself by his Nazi-lie comment. And your entire paper shares in that disgrace by printing such a hate-filled, vile comment.

Re: Rev Hamel’s letter about my proposal to shoot "those who oppose homosexuality."

You clearly misunderstood me Rev.Hamel. What a ridiculous accusation! I mean can you imagine the logistics of organizing such an endeavor?

You call me fascist and Nazi-like. Well anyone who has ever seen the inside of a library would know that during WWII the Nazi’s imprisoned homosexuals in their death camps. So it would seem that if I was fascist or a Nazi I would oppose homosexuality. (Which reminds we, what side are you on?)

But don’t worry Rev. Hamel queers are too busy putting guns to their own heads to bother about pointing it in another direction.

Queers are constantly quarreling amongst themselves, accusing each other of being "too gay," "too butch," "too political," or "too radical." Also suicide rates are higher amongst gay teens than their straight peers. Finally, there are the closeted ones or ‘the walking dead.’

But if, following the lead of the pro-life movement, a queer person decided to take out a few homophobes, I’d hope that I could muster something a bit more venomous than your pathetic, redundant characterization of the abortion doctors deaths as "murderous shootings."

No, you save the real piss for me.

I’m the fascist Nazi but at the most the cowardly doctor killers are "not responsible" people.

Gay or straight people should have the right to live as they want as long as it doesn’t infringe on the rights of others. Get it?

The death of queerphobia will ultimately come about through education and understanding not through the barrel of a gun.

Shooting someone scribbling ‘I hate cocksuckers’ in a washroom stall or guys defacing a cannon with beercases on their heads would do more towards ending their misery than mine.
