~Meet
Mrs. Robinson~

Hello! My name is Tanya Minton-Robinson
and I will be your child's teacher. I thought you might like
to know a little bit about me. I graduated from Queen's University
in June of 1994 with a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Cultural
Studies and a Bachelor of Education in the primary/junior division.
This will be my 2nd year teaching at Glad Park Public School
and my 15th year teaching. Before
I taught at Glad Park, I taught at Jersey Public School in Keswick
and at Schomberg Public School, in Schomberg. I also taught
for the Durham District School board in Sandford and in Port
Perry.
I love teaching children to read, write, add, subtract,
and everything else we do during our busy day. No 2 days are
ever the same, and each new day brings new joy as I watch my
students grow and learn.
My husband, Ed,
and I have been married since 1997. Ed, works on a golf course
as the Superintendent. We have a 5 year old daughter named Gillian
and one cat named Missy.
My parents live
in Stouffville and I have one older sister. She has a son and
daughter and her husband is a Computer Programmer. I grew up
in Stouffville but then moved away for a few years. We returned
to Stouffville not long after Gillian was born.
I look forward
to this coming school year and can't wait to meet all of you.

Special thanks
to,
