The Last Straw
Soon the camel regains it's strength and struggles to stand on wobbly legs. The Masters' expectant wife will now ride next to the burden of straw on the camel's back. That night beneath the starry sky, they approach a small village. They find a place to bed down just outside of town. It isn't long untill the woman begins to have her Child. The Master takes the entire load of straw from the camel's back and makes a bed for His wife and carefully lines a feed trough with the fresh straw for His new-born Child.
The camel is now very glad that the burden has been removed from it's back. The camel is thankful that it's Master has found it and that now the straw that it carried will be a bed for the Master's Son. This is no ordinary Child but The Son of God, the Savior of the world, who would live, and love, and die, and live again. For all who will believe, this Son will carry..."the last straw."
