LESSON III: JEWISH HOLIDAYS |

1. | Brainstorm with students to list as many Jewish holidays as possible, what the holidays celebrate, and when they take place. You may want to divide the class into small groups, and the group that can come up with the most information could receive a prize (2 points extra credit on a test, a homework pass, etc...) Handout on Jewish Holidays I (to either be distributed and read aloud with the class, or used as a resource for lecture material) |
