B. Napoleon Mock Trial

The year is 1815. Napoleon has suffered his final defeat on the fields of Waterloo and is cooling his heels in prison when the Quadruple Alliance (Britain, Austria, Prussia, and Russia) decides to charge him with committing "crimes against humanity."  As a class you are to try General Bonaparte in a mock trial in which witnesses will testify regarding the beneficial and harmful effects of the fifteen years during which he was the master of Europe.  You will be assigned a role and provided with additional materials and details in class.
