B"H

When I was in Israel I prayed at Joseph’s Tomb. It was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. I was given a tallit with blue techelet threads to perform the kohein’s blessing. The worshippers actually blew two silver trumpets at the end of the service explaining that in ancient times they were blown in times of great distress.

When I was in Israel I met Rabbi Hillel Lieberman. He spoke to our group in Elon Moreh about the importance of the Jewish homeland. But today both Joseph’s Tomb and Rabbi Lieberman are gone. One burned to the ground and one riddled with bullets. And I’m told that we should pray for peace. How dare I sit here in suburban America and call for peace?

I agree with those Israelis who are praying for war. After every flare up in the past, the enemy was appeased, things calmed down and then six months to a year later there was another flare up. So while Israel continues to calm things down and appease, the enemy gains more strategic land, more guns and more clout. Today there’s even a Palestinian airport.

Why didn’t rioting start a month ago? Why wasn’t a Palestinian State declared on September 13th like we’ve been hearing for so long? Because this way they can squeeze everything they can out of Israel. They purposely wait for some excuse like Ariel Sharon’s visit to the Temple Mount to riot. And even though they’ve lost over one hundred and Israel has comparatively lost very few, they gained Joseph’s Tomb and the Temple Mount. So they attack first, Israel kicks butt and they get more land. Maybe Jews would rather become an oppressed minority again then been seen as oppressing another perceived minority.

If war is truly inevitable in Israel then the sooner the better. If Syria hates Israel so much then why don’t they attack it today? Once again, because there is more to gain by waiting. And once Israel is weak enough from dealing with the "Palestinians" from within then it would be a perfect opportunity for Syria to finally get rid of Israel from the outside. And what’s to say that Egypt and Jordan won’t attack as well? Because Israel has treaties with them? Remember that on his deathbed Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain of England lamented that the treaty with Germany would have worked if only Adolph Hitler hadn’t lied.

If I have the right to support the Peace Process then do I have the right to support another Six Day War? Israelis will die regardless. So as mean and nasty as it sounds at first, I hope things don’t calm down. If they do then more Israelis will die in the long run. I agree with those Israeli generals who want to declare war today. The "peacemakers" can have their Nobel prizes. As for the rest of us, let’s defend our ancient homeland in the most effective manner possible.

Peace For Our Time
by Neville Chamberlain

The following is the printed statement that Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain waved as he stepped off the plane on September 30, 1938 after the Munich Conference had ended one day before:

"We, the German Führer and Chancellor, and the British Prime Minister, have had a further meeting today and are agreed in recognizing that the question of Anglo-German relations is of the first importance for our two countries and for Europe.

We regard the agreement signed last night and the Anglo-German Naval Agreement as symbolic of the desire of our two peoples never to go to war with one another again.

We are resolved that the method of consultation shall be the method adopted to deal with any other questions that may concern our two countries, and we are determined to continue our efforts to remove possible sources of difference, and thus to contribute to assure the peace of Europe."

Chamberlain read the above statement in front of 10 Downing St. and said:

"My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time... Go home and get a nice quiet sleep."
