Have been married to Suzi86 for over 30 years
(Never a dull moment)
We have two sons, born '71 and '73.

My interests include my family and church. Also: dressmaking, machine and hand embroidery, painting, reading and doing things with Publisher on the computer. Sadly, I can no longer go on trips on the bike with Suzi.

Live in
Mulgrave, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

I grew up in a small country town in northeast Victoria, came to the "
big smoke" when I got married.

I do anything I am able to do but these days probably most important job is caring for my husband.

Seafood, salads, fruit

I dunno

Green generally, but I also like to wear Red

Started chatting January 1999, a whole new world.

I believe I am.

Being an "inherited" Christian I can hardly remember a time when I didn't think I was saved, but as for a public commitment, that would have been when I was 15.

I made my commitment in the Post Office when I was challenged by a friend as to why I was not baptised. I was
baptised by immersion (as was the custom of that particular church), two weeks later.

Favourite Bible verse would have to be John 3:16 and then Psalm 37:24

Being an "inherited" Christian, that is growing up in a Christian family, I don't think you have the same earth shattering moment of "seeing the light" as someone who hasn't had that. But, I do know that that moment of commitment is only the beginning, not the end. I have also found that there have been times and events which have caused me to recommit or renew my faith over the years and I think this will always be. I know without any doubt that without my faith in Jesus' promises, I could not have coped with much that life has thrown at me. I have done my stints as Sunday school teacher, youth group leader and women's groups over the years and it seems at present that it is now time for me to be a Mary rather than a Martha. I am not an Evangelist. I cannot quote the Bible at a moment's notice, but I know what I believe. I cannot stand on street corners and preach but if someone came up to me and asked me about my faith, then I could talk one to one, with the Lord's help. I just keep on trying to follow the path He has set for us.
According to Suzi86, Mrs_Kep's very sweet husband, this picture was taken at a place called Sovereign Hill. Apparently, it is a museum village near Ballarat, Australia. Mrs_Kep and he were volunteers there, dressing up in costume and activating the exhibits. Their key task was to talk to the tourists about the place. There is a formal ball there every year to celebrate the silver anniversary of the ascension to the throne of "our Gracious Sovereign Lady Queen Victoria (God bless her)". This picture shows how Suzi and Mrs_Kep dressed up for the event. Mrs_Kep made her own outfit and most of his as well!
