Thanks from Candlelight from Bri
Thanks to everyone, Candlelight ran like a clock. I got to fight the tourney (made it to quarter-finals, yeah!), and court came off on time and smoothly. Everyone had a great time, and for once, I did not have a headache at the end of the day.
Many thanks to Viscountess Susanna, who escorted Her Maj all day, freeing me up for the tourney. Thanks very much to LADY Ariel, et al., who made sure the "throne" got schlepped to the appropriate places and amused us all by very nearly hyperventilating when she got her AoA. Also Lady Gillian and THL Cicilia (congrats on the Grant) who pulled scrolls and regalia and filled out cheat cards. Cicilia got her chance to play my job, so I could be court herald for the very first time (no wisecracks, anyone). THL Alan and THL Susan got the dirty job of handling the feast gear, and I am very, very grateful. AND the food was great, Kat and Susan! Thanks for taking care of Her Maj so well, and for taking care of me, which is just a little lagniappe for me and very appreciated. You guys are great!

Okay, y'all - we have ONE LAST BIG PUSH! Gulf Wars. This is it. The big one. The whole tamale. The Grand Finale. Anyone willing to work their little heinies off in Her Majesty's service during the War, please email me PRIVATELY (don't clog the list), and let me know when you are getting there and what times you have available for entourage duties. I will be posting an assignment list (since it seems to be working so well). I know I have been needy during this reign (Please, sir, may I have some more...), but after this it is over, over, I tell you, bwahahaha...
