ÿþ Knight 2099

The world was stricken by war, evil and good against itself; brother once more against brother. It is said that a house divided will fall,

and the world had fallen. Indeed had it fallen. People were saying (what few were left) that they were going through a second Middle Age--which

was a very dark time, even back then. Europe's moncarchy was in shambles and Asia in a sorry state of democracy. The United States had no

defined government; too many free wills had rebelled against the former one. It was chaos, total bedlam.

All technology that was once so far reaching and glorified had been either destroyed due to raids or taken. Cellular towers were

blasted into oblivian along with any other telecommunication devices that showered the modern world, satellites not the least of them.

There were very few places that weren't affected by the technology loss, those being the smaller, third-world countries who couldn't attain any of

it to begin with. And that was how the world stood.

Britain was being ruled by a 15 year old queen, a Cataryna Livinston, said by the people to be the next Arthur. The former

king, Gregory Livinston IV knew that the only way to keep up the Livinston lineage was to get a wife and one particular woman had caught his eye:

the young daughter of a Scottish Lord, and the match was bitterly looked upon by the two peoples. The two were wed, but then started the war.

The king had no choice but to serve, and went off, his heart filled with sorrow. But King Gregory never returned. He placed his life on the field and

there it was ended. And so the girl Cateryna and an unborn son were the last of the Livinston's.

The President of Asia was a poor show. The man had always been a weakling, and everyone wondered how he would ever have

gained office were it not for his wife. But even so, women were not allowed in such large positions, so she ran the country behind the curtains.

President Imoto-Soji and Lady Hatacku were very unpopular as it were, and seen as dictators in the midst of the turmoil. Though their grand palace

hardly as grand as it used to be, they were living in high luxury compared to their "subjects." Imoto-Soji had no more technology than the rest of

the world, so he wasn't sought after often. However, there were many assasination plans in the making.

Spain was cleared out. No living soul dwelled there. Except, perhaps Rodriguez Montoya. A man about 26, his reign of terror was wide

spread, thanks to many of his vile henchmen who had joined him in hopes of attaining some of his tech, something he had a good deal of. Montoya

was the son of the King of Spain, whom he did away with as soon as possible. His wealth outstood most of the European world put together, but

it was not gained respectively. He guessed that Tech would be low after the war was over, and he was right. So in the aftermath, he hired men to

plunder, burn, and trash all that they could, taking all that they were able and for pay, bring it all back to him. His plan worked perfectly. The young

man took advantage of being the most advanced creature on Earth pressing everything was under his threat. Anyone who refused to obey was

deleted. That was his way.

Wales was one small country that was not as Tech-Shocked as the rest of the world. It had little to begin with really, it being mostly a

farming and export community. The Welsh had their boats and their land, and along with stock, were well to do. People hardly flocked there

nonetheless for the climate was about the same as always; rainy and cold and incredibly rough. Also controlled by a female Queen, the country

had little influence in the war so steered clear when they could.

There was a small defence against the cruelty of Rodeguez Montoya. "Regular Knights of the Round Table!" Someone once jokingly

said. And indeed they were. Two of the men were clad in strange armor, which was their only protection from the guns and lasers of Montoya, and

were left with ancient weapons of steel, gold, and silver. Swords and sabres were found in the rubble of a museum and the suits were provided

by a once great scientist, Dr. Reubens, who was only just alive. Hidden deep within his laboratory, he had created the strange armor

while the battle raged overhead. There was only two sets so far and only two men had them. A man named Kane and a man named Bartholomew.

Both were close freinds with the doctor, and were joined by a few others: a Mr. Jonathan Klemmens, Christopher Martin, Amos Ben-David, and

Steven O'Connor. Six against an uncounted number of Montoya's men. Not an even fight at all. But who was to say the out come?

Not much of a story, but it isn't supposed to be much of one anyway. Just a epilogue really. This isn't even a sample of my writing if I may say so.

Maybe I'll put something in here later.
