The Islanders have definately demonstrated over the past few years that they wish to return to the form that saw them win four Stanley Cup Championships in a row from 1980 to 1983. While a relatively young franchise, their four Stanley Cup Victories ties the 4 victories of the New York Rangers, an Original Six team.
