Lina: Welcome everyone to the first Anime Wrestling Federation card of the new year. Hope you all aren't still suffering from any post New Year's hangovers
*Kaji moans*
Lina: We're live (in text) from Akihabara, one of the largest collections of electronics stores ever, to bring you this special AWF event. With me to my right is my color commentator Ryoji Kaji.
Kaji: It's too early to be doing this card. *moans*
Lina: Just how much did you drink?
Kaji: I can't remember...last thing in my head is Katsuragi, Urd, and Happosai saying something...and a really large bottle of Sake. *moans*
Lina: Well there's your first problem right there. Anyway we've got a great card lined up for you this fine winter's day as "Minnie May" Hopkins takes on Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky the forth in a one on one contest.
*Tank! starts to play*
Tenchi: Introducing first, from South America and wanted by several law enforcement groups, Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky the forth.
*cheers*
*Hateshinai Toiki starts to play*
Tenchi: Her opponent from Chicago Illinois, "Minnie" May Hopkins.
*Bell*
Lina: Things starting out with Ed charging in. May catches her at the waist and drops her onto that top rope. Not a good way for Ed to start this match. May hooks the leg cover and a two count from our senior official Carrot Glace. May picking up Ed and setting her up for a supplex. Blocked. Ed reverses it into a nice basic supplex. Ed heading to the top rope. May to her feet and knocks her off the top rope with a nice dropkick. Ed has fallen pretty far to pavement out here. She seems a bit dazed.
Kaji: She always seems like that though.
Lina: True but I think this may be worse then normal.
Kaji: Well she took a hard fall to the hard pavement, we don't have very thick padding out here. And things may get a lot worse for Ed right now.
Lina: May has hooked the waist and is going for a belly to belly supplex out on the pavement. Ed tries to reverse but can't do it. Her back just caught the pavement. This could be enough as May rolls her into the ring. Cover, count, and a kick out after only two. Ed's showing some real guts tonight.
Kaji: But a complete lack of brains. She's let herself take two high impact moves from May and she just doesn't have the build to be taking that punishment.
Lina: Time will tell Kaji, time will tell. In the meantime May sets up Ed with an Irish whip into the corner. Follows in and nails the clothesline. Ed still on her feet...sorta. Knife edge chop from May.
Crowd: Whoooo
Lina: God that's annoying. Anyway, another.
Crowd: Whoooo!
Lina: *grumbles* another. May fakes the knife edge chop but goes for an open hand slap to the face of Ed. Going for the Irish whip to the opposite corner, reversed into a short-arm clothesline and May is down. Ed going for a cover, kickout after one and a half.
Kaji: She needs to do some more damage.
Lina: Well Kaji looks like she's going to take your advice, she's got the time keepers bell from ringside and is aiming to clean May's clock. May to her feet, ducks the bell and hits a superkick. Ed's head snaps back like a rag doll in a dog's mouth.
Kaji: Well...I only meant for her to hit more moves not use a damn bell. Geez.
Lina: Cover, count and she gets another two count. She may not be very bright but she seems to have a lot of endurance. May not wasting anytime and picks up Ed. Hooks the leg and nails the fisherman's supplex. Ed straining but she can't seem to kick out. One, two, three it's all over as Minnie May wins our opening match.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner, "Minnie" May Hopkins.
*Hateshinai Toiki starts to play*
Lina: Impressive victory from May as we open things up.
Kaji: Ed blew it in my opinion. She was all over the ring but didn't bother to even try wrestling May and that's what cost her the ieeeeeeeeeeeeeee *Ed starts chewing on his head*
Lina: Nobody likes a critic Kaji...we'll be right back after we pry Ed off of Kaji's head. *Offers Ed a cookie* Cookie? Want a cookie?
*Crew members are bandaging up Kaji's head*
Lina: There better you crybaby?
Kaji: Lina she drew blood. It hurt I don't see what was so wrong about screaming in pain.
Lina: I suppose it didn't help when the technicians shot you with the tranquilizer dart...
Kaji: They wha *collapse*
Lina: Well this is the reason we're in Akihabara, the showdown Deijiko faces off with long time foe Rabi~en~Rose. Now normally we'd say there were rules *snickers* but just for this match the official will look the other way. Let's head to the ring.
*Only one, Number One starts to play*
Tenchi: Introducing first with Green Hair, big bells and cat ears, Deijiko.
*cheers*
*Party Night starts to play*
Tenchi: Her opponent, in the pink frilly dress wearing rabbit ears and dice, Rabi~en~Rose.
*cheers*
*Bell*
Lina: Deijiko not waiting for Rabi to even get into the ring as she jumps her on the outside. Deijiko picks her up and crotches her on that steel guardrail this is not pretty. Deijiko is climbing to the top of that turnbuckle nearly the guardrail. She isn't?! She is! Top rope clothesline and she just nailed Rabi in the head. This could all be over. Deijiko covering but Soun Tendo is still trying to get out there. Doesn't matter Rabi just poked Deijiko in the eye. Deijiko stumbling back to use the guardrail as a crutch. Rabi back to her feet, Cactus clothesline over the guardrail. Impressive move from Rabi~en~Rose after taking some extreme damage from Deijiko.
Kaji: oh geez, why me? I mean it's not like I've ever done anything to piss off God. Why does he get his jollies by torturing me.
Lina: Welcome back to the land of the living old man. Both fighters getting to their feet. Deijiko swings. Missed, Rabi swings and misses. Deijko with an uppercut to the chin. Hooks the head and nails a vertical supplex on the concrete. Cover count, one, two and a kick out.
Kaji: She really needs to hook the leg when going for the pin.
Lina: It may come back to haunt her as both struggle to their feet. Deijiko looks like she's going to go for the DDT. Pushed off by Rabi and she hits her using those ears. Deijiko looks to be blinded. Rose from behind and she's got a cobra clutch on Deijiko.
Kaji: Taking the wind out of her. Bed time for Deijiko-nyo.
Lina: Looks that way as Soun Tendo is testing to see if she's still awake. Lifts the arm up, and it falls. Tries again, and again it falls. For the third time...no she keeps it up. Fighting to her feet, nails Rabi in the stomach. Breaks the hold. Stunner! She hits a stunner and Rabi falls backwards. Deijiko trying to catch her breath after the clutch. Rabi is holding her neck, she could have an injury. Deijiko rolls her into the ring.
Kaji: Wrestling in the ring? Hmmmm you know that just might work.
Lina: You think?
Kaji: Stranger things have worked in the past.
Lina: Deijiko with the Irish whip into the ropes, going for a clothesline but Rabi ducks it. Deijiko turns around and is met by a standing dropkick. Cover, count, but a kickout by Deijiko. Both competitor's struggling to their feet. Deijiko staring Rabi down...eye beam. Rabi is knocked down. Cover, count, one, two, three. It's all over Deijiko pulls off the victory.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner, Deijiko.
*Only one, Number one starts to play*
Lina: Impressive victory from Deijiko tonight. It wasn't an easy victory, but a victory none the less.
Kaji: She may make a point to be a top contender with this victory.
Lina: Very true, but before we talk about any of the future we've still got a few more matches to get out of the way tonight. Next it's another quick draw contest as Golgo 13 faces off against Mireille Bouquet so stay with us.
Lina: Well we needed a quick screw job match. So what better quick painless match then to have another quick draw contest? Huh?
Kaji: We could have Sakura Kinomoto face off against Evangelion Unit one. I think it'd be much better then the Wing Zero match.
*Lina punches Kaji*
Lina: That was a rhetorical question dummy.
Kaji: *dazed* oh...right. *falls over*
Lina: Let's just go to the ring and Tenchi Masaki.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Ladies and Gentlemen this is a special quick draw match. For your safety we ask you refrain from flash photography and please stay behind the bullet proof glass. The AWF takes no responsibility for death or dismemberment caused by your own stupidity. Now introducing the competitors. To my left using an M-16 Duke Togo better known as Golgo 13. To my right using a pistol, Mireille also known as Noir.
*Bell*
Lina: Things are starting to get under way as the two opponents stare each other down. Mireille going for a shot first, misses. Golgo out of the way takes his shot. Nails the shoulder this is over already. Uh oh looks like we have an injury. Her shoulder is bleeding pretty badly. Must have missed the bullet proof vest.
Kaji: Bullet proof vest? They're supposed to have bullet proof vests?
Lina: I thought they were. Or at least rubber bullets...
Kaji: *thumbs through notes* Nope nothing in here...someone goofed.
Lina: Damn lazy Spike forgetting to put in some safety requirements. Boy you'd think he was out to get someone hurt.
Kaji: Or just really forgetful.
Lina: I suppose so. Anyway she seems to be fine as we get set up for our next match.
Lina: *looking angry* Well...who...am I to...argue with popular demand? It's the showdown many of you out there have been apparently waiting for.
Kaji: Whoo-hoo!
Lina: ...Kaji...die! *flattens him with a mallet*
Kaji: ouch...*passes out*
*Pink ambushes Miko on her way to the ring*
*Bell*
Lina: Looks like things have already started in the entrance way with Pink ambushing Miko before she even makes it to the ring. Hooks the arms, going for a double arm DDT. But Miko has her hand on the guardrail. Pushes off Pink and comes in with a clothesline. She knocked her down hard, as Miko grabs Pink and drags her to ringside.
Kaji: What'd I miss?
Lina: Not much. Miko's got Pink on the timekeeper's table. As she climbs onto the ring and drops the leg. Sending Pink through to the concrete floor. Impressive brawling skills shown by Miko Mido early on in this match. She rolls Pink into the ring and covers hooking the leg. One and two and a kickout by Pink. Two count only.
Kaji: Guess the table dive wasn't enough. She's stronger then I thought.
Lina: Guess a guy whipping on you and using you for a pack mule works wonders for strength. Who would have guessed?
Kaji: Carrot? *whip cracks his ear* ouch
Lina: Back to the action as we see Miko bouncing Pink off the ropes, going for a back body drop. No Pink stops right in front of her, kick to the chest. Not that that had much of an effect. But the DDT she just hit had to. Miko is staring at the sky above her. Cover, count, one two and a kickout. Two count only. Miko trying to get up but Pink lands a stomp to the face. Goes for a leg drop but Miko rolls away. Sloppy wrestling skills from Pink today.
Kaji: Hey Lina...
Lina: Miko hook the leg and tries for a pin, one and a kickout.
Kaji: Lina...
Lina: Miko gets a face slap from Pink who follows it up with a whip into the corner.
Kaji: Lina!
Lina: What is it Kaji? Pink running in with the clothesline and hits it.
Kaji: How much longer until you know they...start tearing each other's clothes off?
Lina: *slightly annoyed* What is with you and your dirty dirty mind? *senses an opportunity for fun and changes her tone* You know I bet if you give them a dollar they'll do it. Why don't you go ahead I'll do fine without you.
Kaji: Thanks. *goes down to ringside*
Lina: What a maroon. Back to action in the ring as Miko nails a short arm clothesline after an attempted Irish whip. Cover and a count. Two count only. She picks Pink up by the hair and sets her up for what looks like...yes it is a pile driver. She hits it. Cover, count one two and three. Miko Mido wins this match with the piledriver. And it looks like Kaji's made it to the ring. He's offering Miko the dollar. Open hand slap to the face, a kick to the ribs. She hits him with a picture perfect DDT. Kaji is down...but she's not done with him yet. Setting him up. It looks like she's going for another one. Yes it is another piledriver and Kaji has just been laid flat out as the medics go to clear the ring.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner, Miko Mido.
*cheers*
Lina: Well we made it through a match with those two without any tentacles. The censors should be proud. Coming up next we've got more hentai action stay with us.
Lina: Ever wonder how we come up with these matches? Well let's go to a special video package prepared by the AWF Front Office staff as to how this next match came to be.
*Roll footage*
Interior, AWF board room. Spike is sitting with his feet on the table
Spike: We need to fill the fifth match slot.
Kiddy: Maybe a tables match?
Prospector: We spend enough on those without having a match specifically dedicated to breaking them.
Kuno: How about giving me a match with my old nemesis Ranma Saotome?
Spike: We already have a five second match.
*Room starts laughing*
Spike: Ah he makes it so easy. I know. Miaka fetch me the big jar of names.
Miaka: Yes sir. *rolls in an overtly large barrel*
Spike: Alright now here we go *pulls out a name* first name is...Ataru Moroboshi. Okay. And he will be facing off against *looks at the paper* Taishi Kuhonbutsu. Any special rules we need?
Room: Nah.
Spike: Okay there's our fifth match for the November card.
*Footage breaks*
Lina: Truth is scarier then fiction, no? Anyway let's go to Tenchi Masaki for the introductions.
*Kimi no Mama de starts to play*
Tenchi: Ladies and gentlemen introducing first, Taishi Kuhonbutsu.
*Forlorn begins to play*
Tenchi: His opponent, accompanied to the ring by Lum, Ataru Moroboshi.
*Bell*
Lina: Things starting off with a lockup, Taishi using his height advantage to back Ataru into the corner. Going for an Irish whip, but it's reversed as Ataru runs him chest first into the turnbuckle. Ataru slams Taishi's head on that turnbuckle and then places him up top. Looks like a high risk maneuver going for the belly to back superplex. Taishi with a couple elbow blows to the face has knocked Ataru to the mat. Taishi standing on the rope now, moonsault and nails Ataru with it.
*Crowd cheers*
Lina: It's been a long time since we've seen a move like that out of anyone. Cover, count and Ataru manages to kick out after two. Taishi picking him up and slamming him back onto the canvas. Off the ropes, Lum hooks the leg and trips Taishi. Referee Shun Mitaka warning her to stay out of this. Lum acting innocent. She denies everything, like people buy that...well I guess they do. Mitaka turning his back. Ataru comes in with a clothesline knocking Taishi over the top rope. Mitaka warning Ataru as Lum gets a few kicks in on the prone Taishi. Who seems to be getting to his feet already. Ataru off the opposite side ropes, baseball slide, Taishi moves and pulls Ataru out of the ring. Big right hand staggers Ataru. Taishi grabs his head and slams it on the guardrail. Rolls Ataru back into the ring. Lum jumping onto Taishi's back trying to stop him from getting in the ring but it's no use he's taking her with him.
*Crowd is on their feet cheering*
Lina: The crowd is going nuts for this performance out of Taishi today. Going to try and drop and elbow on Ataru's chest but Lum decides to give him shock therapy instead. Everyone down except Lum...Shun got caught in the voltage. Lum dragging Ataru and places him on Taishi. Cover but we don't have a referee. Lum trying to wake Shun up, but it's no use. Wait a minute he's started moving. Count one, two and no Taishi gets the shoulder up. He survived the electric lynching and somehow managed to get his shoulder up. All three men trying to get to their feet. Taishi manages to get up first hooks Ataru up and nails a DDT. Cover, count, one, two and a kickout. Still not enough to finish the job. Both men slow to get up. Taishi goes for a big right hand. Ducked, Ataru goes for the big foot to the midsection. That's blocked, Taishi spins him around and bounces him off the ropes. Looks like he's going for an impact move. Tilt-a-whirl into the sidewalk slam. Ataru is out. Cover, count, one, two, three. It's over.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner, Taishi Kuhonbutsu.
*Loud ovation*
Lina: An incredible show by these two young men. Coming up next let's see if Ruri Hoshino can keep the intensity up as she faces an old friend of mine. And I'm sure Kaji will be back by then.
*Kaji sits down with a neck brace*
Lina: So...did she take her clothes off? heh heh heh
Kaji: Ah shaddup.
Lina: Just in time old man to see young Ruri Hoshino face off against Princess of Justice Amelia. Let's go to the ring for introductions.
*You Get to Burning starts to play*
Tenchi: Ladies and gentlemen introducing first, currently hailing from the Nadesico, Ruri Hoshino.
*cheers*
*Breeze starts to play*
Tenchi: Her opponent, currently hailing from wherever she may roam, Amelia Seiryuun.
*cheers*
*Bell*
Lina: Amelia pacing back and forth looking for an opening. Goes low for Ruri's waist but bad idea as Ruri hits her in the back with clenched fists. Amelia to the canvas as Ruri stomps away. Ruri off the ropes and is going for an elbow to the chest but it's not good.
Kaji: Wouldn't have had much of an effect anyway for obvious reasons.
Lina: ...you're slow that's it...that's the only possible explanation for that. As Amelia picks up Ruri and sets her up for it looks like a brainbuster and she hits it. Cover, count, two only. A little fast on the count was Asuka. But it doesn't seem to have mattered much. Amelia picking up Ruri and slams her down to the canvas. Off the ropes, and goes for the big leg drop...which she misses. Ruri gets up and sets Amelia up for it looks like a grapevine on that right leg of hers. Amelia writhing in pain, but manages to grab the ropes. Asuka breaks the hold. Ruri dragging Amelia to the center of the ring and applies the Sharpshooter. Amelia has no where to run to. No escape.
Kaji: Then how is she dragging Ruri with her across the ring?
Lina: Uh...desperation? Anyway Amelia's got the bottom rope so Asuka breaks up that hold. Amelia is hurting in the legs department as Ruri is trying to get to Amelia but is being held back by Asuka. Amelia to her feet but maybe not for long, Ruri moves in but Amelia nails a punch to the stomach. She hits a DDT sprawling Ruri out cold. One, two, foot on the ropes. Amelia arguing with the referee. In the meanwhile Ruri is starting to stir.
Kaji: Better turn around.
Lina: Amelia turns around and is met with a rake to the eyes.
Kaji: Tried to warn her.
Lina: Ruri hooks the head, running along the second rope and turnbuckle. She's got the head hooked and she hit's the Acid Drop. A modified version of a stunner executed by bouncing off the ropes. Cover, count. One, two, three and it's all over.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner, Ruri Hoshino.
*cheers*
Lina: Ruri dominates this match to come away with the win over Amelia. Stay with us, next up it's the required Shinji Ikari match. Can't have Gendo without Shinji apparently. It's in the contract somewhere.
Lina: Tonight we've got a special match for you as Shinji Ikari finally faces someone he may be able to beat *snicker* a girl.
Kaji: Uh...Lina, isn't Motoko a skilled swordsman who's kicked much butt in her short life?
Lina: Oh sure throw the truth into my joke at Shinji's expense.
Kaji: Anytime, darling.
Lina: Anyway nobody is expecting much out of old Shinji so let's just go to the ring.
*Fly me to the moon plays*
Tenchi: Introducing first from Tokyo-3, Shinji Ikari.
*cheers*
*Sakura Saku starts to play*
Tenchi: His opponent from Hinata Inn, Motoko Aoyama.
*Bell*
Lina: Things starting off with a swift kick to the face of Shinji by Motoko. Shinji on his knees. Motoko lands a blow with a shinai. We made he set aside her trusty blade for safety's sake. Shinji's head is busted open. Motoko lands another head shot.
Kaji: This is safer?
Lina: Well I don't see any limbs being cut off do you?
Kaji: Good point.
Lina: And it looks like Shinji just got the brunt of blow to his head.
Girls: Wai Go Motoko-sempai!
Lina: Motoko's own personal cheering section, showing their approval for the beating Shinji is recieving. Wait a minute, from behind, school boy. One, two, three. Shinji pinned her!
Kaji: You mean he actually won a match? That's unnatural!
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner, Shinji Ikari.
*Shinji scurries into the crowd*
*Fly Me to the Moon starts to play*
Lina: Shinji got away with one for his first victory ever in the AWF. And Motoko extends her streak losing to unlikely people.
Kaji: Time for her to go back to basics.
Lina: So it would seem. Well despite that display of crapiness I implore you to stick with us as Vash the Stampede and his Dream Partner take on Nicholas D. Wolfwood and Jet Black.
Lina: For those of you unfamiliar with the dream partner concept allow me to explain. In a dream partner match the man with a mystery partner gets to keep it a secret for the time up until the match. Vash the Stampede in this match has chosen to keep his partner a secret...but that won't stop us from speculating now will it Kaji?
Kaji: Not at all...hmmmmm who could it be? Well in the past few matches we've seen Rally Vincent help him out...I see no reason to doubt it's her.
Lina: Good venture old man. Now let's go to Miyuki backstage.
Miyuki: Ummmmm I think it's going to be his brother Knives.
Lina: Really why so?
Miyuki: Well...he is wandering around back her so I figure it's a pretty safe guess.
Lina: *sweatdrop* well...I guess so. Me I'm one to figure the unlikely, I say it's Himura Kenshin. It wouldn't be an AWF card without the wanderer making his way onto the card. But enough guessing let's go to the ring and Tenchi Masaki.
*Tank starts to play*
Tenchi: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is set for one fall and is a special Dream Partner match for the right to be the number one contender for the AWF Tag Team Titles. Introducing first the team of Jet Black and Nicholas D. Wolfwood.
*cheers*
Lina: This is it...
*H.T. Starts to play*
Tenchi: Their opponent, Vash the Stampede.
*cheers*
Lina: Where's his partner? Who is Vash's partner?
*Vash gets in the ring and takes the microphone*
Vash: I figure this would be the best way to introduce to you my partner...D!
*gasp from the crowd*
Lina: Vash the Stampede going to the darkside for his partner bringing in half-vampire vampire hunter D. Who comes to the ring with a fierce prescence. Jet and Wolfwood seem a bit caught off guard. Not a good way to start.
*Bell*
Lina: Jet and Vash will start things off here as both lock hands to start things. Test of strength and Jet with his full cybernetic arm is clearly winning this. But Vash sees an open and lays a kick to the chest. Knocks the wind out of him. Another kick to the ribs with those steel toed boots.
Kaji: I thought those were knife toed.
Lina: Well true...but he isn't stabbing him now is he?
Kaji: Well, no not really.
Lina: Now that we have that clear, back to the action. As Vash continues to lay into Jet with those boots. Drags him over to the corner and tags in D. D, picks up Jet and twists the arm he climbs to the top rope...and is walking the rope.
Kaji: Gee I wonder what this is derivative of?
Lina: Oh bite me it's fun. He leaps off the top rope and nails Jet in joint of his flesh arm. Jerks the socket. He's obviously out to injure that arm. But Jet takes matters into his own metal hand and goes for the low blow...which didn't have any effect apparently.
Kaji: Talk about balls of steel...
Lina: D tags in Vash who climbs to the top rope, looks like he's going for a high impact move on that shoulder. Jet moves D in the way who takes the ax handle smash to the head. But seems unphased as he steps outside. Jet talks advantage of a slight bit of confusion and tags in Wolfwood. Who comes in with that vicious elbow to the head of Vash. Vash is stunned, Wolfwood whips him into the ropes. Clothesline attempt, ducked, Vash comes back with a dropkick and Wolfwood hits the canvas. Cover, but a one count only.
Kaji: What the hell was he thinking? Wolfwood's the fresh man and he thinks one dropkick will do it.
Lina: One too many blows to the head I would think. As Vash tries to pick up Wolfwood but is met with a swift uppercut. Vash stumbling backwards. D tags himself into the action and comes charging in with a clothesline. Wolfwood is down hard. It seems like D is doing most of the damage on this team as he picks Wolfwood up and tosses him into the crowd.
Kaji: As long as he's in this match Jet and Nick don't stand much of a chance.
Lina: Wolfwood slow to get up and so are the poor people in the third row he took out on impact. D onto the top turnbuckle...and nails a dives from the ring into the crowd. Wolfwood is taking a lot of damage here. D is dragging him back into the ring. Bodyslam. Off the ropes, and drops the elbow to the chest. D tags in Vash to finish the job. Vash has Wolfwood by the hair and hooks the head. DDT. Cover, count, one, two and Jet breaks up the count.
Kaji: It would have been kinder to stay out of this.
Lina: Things aren't looking good as Motoko Kusanagi admonishes Jeff for interfering while in the meantime D and Vash double team Wolfwood. Vash with an Irish whip into the ropes, D picks him up and Vash grabs the head. 3D, the Duddley Death Drop executed perfect by Vash and D. That should be all as Vash goes for the cover. One, two and again Jet breaks up the count. Motoko distracted. Wait we've got some commotion at ringside it looks like D is running for the back. Vash piledrives Nick in the meantime. Cover, count, one two and the foot is on the ropes. Vash complaining of a slow count and we still don't know where D ran off to. Wolfwood inching towards his corner and makes the tag.
Kaji: I'm amazed he could crawl that far.
Lina: Jet Black in the ring and nails Vash across the face with that metal arm of his. Vash is down. I think he's out but Jet not taking any chances he goes to the outside and has a chair. Vash to his feet. Must have a head like a rock or something. Jet swings with the chair, but Vash catches it and takes it away. Chair shot to the head of Jet. Vash tosses it aside. And sets Jet up for a DDT. He hits it. Cover, count one, two and a kickout. Both men slow to get up. Wolfwood has the chair and tries to toss it to Jet but Vash catches it. Turns around and is caught with the roaring elbow through the chair. Jet covers. One, two and three it's all over as Jet Black and Nicholas D. Wolfwood win this thing.
*cheers
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here are your winners Jet Black and Nicholas D. Wolfwood.
*Tank! starts to play*
Lina: Hard fought victory for Jet and Nick in this contest. But one has to wonder what happened to D.
Kaji: I'm getting word that we should cut to Miyuki in the parking lot.
Lina: Hmmm okay let's do that.
*In the parking lot*
Miyuki: Lina and Kaji just a few minutes ago D came rushing through the back stage area and attacked Saya, who was apparently backstage, with a long sword. The two of them fought back through the parking lot until she jumped into the back of a jeep and managed to escape. Details are sketchy as to why he ran back here to attack her but this is what many people have reported seeing. Back to you guys.
*The booth*
Lina: Well this is certainly shocking, D passed up a chance for a shot at AWF gold to ambush someone. We hope to get more details later but stick with us, we've got the AWF Underground title up for grabs next.
Lina: The AWF Underground title is usually seen as a stepping stone to bigger and better things in the AWF. Of course so far the champions really haven't gone on to do much. Though thus far our strongest champion seem to be Nube an eternally broke grade school teacher with a demon possessed hand. That could all change as he faces his opponent tonight, Alucard.
Kaji: Not much is known about Alucard other then the fact he is a bad ass killing machine...oh and that he's a vampire. He why didn't D go after him too?
Lina: ...I'm not sure. Good question. Anyway let's go to the ring for the introductions.
*Cool starts to play*
Tenchi: Introducing first, the challenger from parts unknown, Alucard.
*Bari bari saikyou NO.1 starts to play*
Tenchi: And now introducing the AWF Underground champion, Nube!
*Bell*
Lina: They lock up, Alucard executes a judo throw. Nube back to his feet and comes back with a punch to the face. Left, a right and another left. Alucard comes back with a throat chop. Nube sent backwards as Alucard slaps the hand across the throat. Pick up and one handed chokeslam.
Kaji: What power!
Lina: Showing power and resolve he steps in closer to Nube. Who is struggling to get his glove off. But Alucard stomps the face with the boot. He picks him up and lifts him above his head and drops him through the ringside table.
Kaji: Holy cow.
Lina: Alucard to the outside tosses Nube in an tosses a chair in a well. This could be all over as he comes back in the ring. Nube trying to get the glove off but it's not happening as Alucard nails him in the head with that foot. He picks him up and spikes him on the chair with a piledriver. Cover count. And it's over. Bean calls for the bell, Alucard just dominated this match to capture the AWF Underground title.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner, Alucard.
*Cool plays as Alucard leaves the ring*
Lina: Kaji any thoughts on this match and how Alucard won this?
Kaji: Total and complete domination of the match, this is how he won that title.
Lina: Thank you master of the obvious. Coming up next we hope to settle a long running feud as Yurika and Megumi finally face off for the women's title.
Lina: It's a rivalry born out of the a shared love for one man. But tonight that is set aside as they fight for one belt. The AWF Women's title. Any predictions for this one Kaji?
Kaji: Yurika's a skilled wrestler and an intelligent captain but I'm going with Megumi. Something seemed to be in motion when I saw her backstage before we came out here for the first match.
Lina: A conspiracy? Nah that's lame even for us. Let's just go to the ring for introductions.
*You Get to Burning starts to play*
Tenchi: Introducing first originally from Japan, Megumi Reinard.
*cheers
*Yurika walks out as the band continues to play*
Tenchi: Her opponent originally from the Utopia Colony on Mar and the AWF Women's Champion Yurika Misumaru.
*Bell*
Lina: Yurika and Megumi start in a lockup. Megumi back Yurika into the corner and whips her across the ring. Megumi follows in with a clothesline. Yurika falls over. Megumi stomping her in the back. Soun backing her off.
Kaji: Megumi coming into this match stronger then usual.
Lina: Yes it's strange, she seems hell bent on beating down Yurika. She's going to the outside as Yurika uses the ropes to get to her feet. Megumi slides a table into the ring and a few chairs. She's really going to go hardcore on Yurika.
*Kaji snickers*
Lina: Oh hush you. Megumi sets up the table in the corner. Yurika coming in to slap her. Blocked. Megumi trying to whip her into that table, reversed and Yurika whips Megumi into that table, splitting it in half. Megumi looks out of it. Yurika picks her up and executes a nice German supplex. Count, one two and a kickout. Megumi rolls out and tries to get to her feet. Yurika struggling to get up as well. Megumi has a chair. Yurika to her feet. Megumi swings but Yurika ducks the chair. Soun catches the chair with his face and is down.
Kaji: Not good timing on Megumi's part.
Lina: Yurika boot to the midsection. Megumi drops the chair. Yurika sets her up and DDT on the chair.
Kaji: Okay so maybe it was a brilliant move...
*Lights go out*
Lina: The hell?
Kaji: What in the name of?
*Lights come back up and Chocolate Misu is in the ring with a shinai*
Lina: What the hell is she doing here? What is going on? Yurika takes a shot to the head, and another. She's down. Chocolate puts Megumi on top.
Kaji: It's no use without a referee.
Lina: Soun Tendo starting to stir. Counting...one....two....three. It's over.
Kaji: Ah bloody hell.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner and new AWF Women's Champion Megumi Reinard.
*boos*
Lina: What a despicable display tonight as Megumi Reinard and Chocolate Misu look to have conspired against Yurika to steal the belt.
Kaji: I hate it when I'm right like this. Man this sucks.
Lina: Hopefully the remaining matches won't end this way, stay with us Double Jeopardy is next.
Lina: For those of you unfamiliar with the rules of a double jeopardy match let me go over them with you again. In this match we've made two pairings. In this case the team of Ranma and Akane will face Kei and Yuri. While the team of Naru and Keitaro will face Seta and Haruka. Each team may interfere with one and another. But it isn't a smart move really for them to do that because you could inadvertently ruin things for yourself. Any predictions Kaji?
Kaji: This certainly is a unique match with four teams facing off with double jeopardy rules. You've got eleven skilled individuals...and Keitaro. Who knows what will happen?
Lina: If you were forced to pick one team which would it be?
Kaji: Well if you're forcing me...I'll take Seta and Haruka.
Lina: Why's that?
Kaji: Well you've got Seta who is a skilled marital artist in his own right and you've got Haruka who has an intimidating presence if I ever saw one. I think if they can get things on their side they should have no problem.
Lina: Good points. Let's go to the ring where things are about to get under way.
*ringside*
Tenchi: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a special double jeopardy rules match for the AWF World Tag Team Titles. Introducing the first pairings. On the left side of the ring the team of Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo their opponents the team of Kei and Yuri. To my right the team of Naru Narusegawa and Keitaro Urashima. Their opponents the team of Seta Noriyasu and Haruka Urashima.
*Bell*
Lina: Things are under way and we've got four people in the ring to start as Naru matches up with Haruka and Akane with Kei. Naru and Haruka starting things off with a collar and elbow tie up while Kei and Akane seem to be stalking each other. Haruka executes a nice take down and slaps an arm bar on Naru. Meanwhile on the otherside Kei has Akane in a sleeper hold.
Kaji: Both sides trying to wear out their opponent.
Lina: A good solid strategy in a match like this. Akane has that rope so Bean breaks up the hold. On the otherside it looks like Naru has forced her way to her feet and broken the hold. Irish whip, Haruka coming off the ropes and catches a spinning heel kick from Naru. Naru goes for a cover one two and a kick out.
Kaji: Should we mention the dual officials?
Lina: I guess so. Since we really have two unique matches going on right now Asuka and Bean are splitting the duties. When we're down to two teams Bean will handle things on the outside of the ring and keep meddling individuals out of the area. And Kei just leveled Akane with a roaring elbow. Yuri tagged in and climbs to the top rope. Frog splash off the top rope and she...missed it Akane rolls out of the way. Ranma tagged in picks up Yuri and executes a nice belly to back supplex. Meanwhile Haruka has clotheslined Naru over the top rope. Seta and Keitaro on the other side in the melee as Haruka has Naru set up on a table. Keitaro getting the fierce end of a fist from Seta and it sends him a few rows back.
Kaji: He'll be back.
Lina: Haruka lays Naru across the table Seta holding her legs down. Haruka going for it but Keitaro from behind knocks her down. Seta lets go of Naru's legs and is caught with a kick to the nose. The wind up and a super uppercut from Naru sends Seta as good five six stories into the air. Naru and Keitaro double teaming Haruka and put her through a table.
Kaji: Meanwhile it looks like Yuri is just dominating Ranma with kicks to the ribs. Keitaro and Naru rolling Haruka into the ring as Seta seems to be coming back down to Earth....right above us. Oh crap.
*Seta crashes through the broadcast table as Lina and Kaji scatter*
Lina: Good thing we switched to wireless headsets. In the ring Keitaro covers and Naru gets on top for added weight. One, two and three. Seta and Haruka are eliminated.
Kaji: That's twice I've nearly been killed tonight. I swear I'm taking a few months off.
Lina: Things keep getting worse for Ranma as Kei and Yuri have seemingly dismantled their team. Ranma in the corner. And....wait a minute a big cat seems to be near ringside giving Kei some water.
Kaji: I thought Mugi was a panther.
Lina: Something like that. Errr what's with Ranma he seems to be curled into a ball. Akane going back to kick apparently she boots him out of the ring...and into Mugi.
Kaji: Now why do you suppose she did that?
Ranma: Meow...
Kaji: Why for he just meow?
Lina: It's just as I feared?
Kaji: Did you really?
Lina: Oh shut up and let me be melodramatic for a second. It's the dreaded Cat-fu. The legendary technique that makes the user nearly impossible to beat. Ranma back into the ring and on the top rope. Yuri looks scarred as Ranma chases her around the ring. Yuri going for a kick but Ranma too fast executes a vicious claw. Yuri down. Ranma on top gnawing on her. One, two...three. That's over.
Kaji: Hey what's Keitaro doing with that ball of Yarn?
Lina: He tosses that pretty far over Akane's head. Ranma chasing the yarn stomps Akane's head in the process, she's the legal man. Naru charges in an nails a stiff punch. Akane stunned. Giving Naru the chance to supplex her into the ring. Akane is in a bad position as Keitaro continues to distract neko-Ranma with that ball of yarn. Naru slaps the leg-lock chokehold on Akane. She's going out. Asuka checks the arm...one....and again...two....and again....three. It's over. She cannot answer.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here are your winners and new AWF World Tag Team Champions Naru Narusegawa and Keitaro Urashima.
*Sakura Saku begins to play*
Lina: Hard won victory in this mess, but Naru and Keitaro walk away victorious. Stay tunned next up the cage is being moved into position and Duo Maxwell and Gendo Ikari will lay it all on the line for the world title. It's belt for belt next stay with us!
Lina: It's time for our main event, the two finalists from the double jeopardy match during the summer. Only this time Gendo Ikari comes into the match the AWF Mainstream champion and off a big win over Himura Kenshin last time. Duo comes in with a nagging knee injury as a result of his match with Heero Yui,
Kaji: Blood in the water fomr the champion this could be his last stand. Gendo has only lost two matches in his AWF career and both came as a result of interference by Shinji.
Lina: But it's going to be a little hard for Shinji to interfere this time because this is a special cage match. The ring is surrounded by a chain link fence with a roof on it to protect the integrity of this match from interference.
Kaji: How true it is, and given the circumstances that eliminates count out and disqualification as options in this match. Gendo has a distinct advantage.
Lina: Let's go to the ring and Tenchi Masaki for the introductions.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a special cage match for the AWF title. The only way to win is by pinfall or submission.
*Cruel Angel's Thesis begins to play*
Tenchi: Introducing first from Tokyo 3, the challenger and AWF Mainstream Champion Gendo Ikari.
*Rhythm Emotion starts to play*
Tenchi: His opponent, the AWF World Champion Duo Maxwell.
*Bell*
Lina: Comissioner Kiddy Phenil locking the pad lock on the cage. And things are underway, the two of them are sizing each other up. Gendo with a distinct height advantage over Duo. But normally Duo is much quicker, although his knee has been giving him trouble. They lock horns, Gendo using his height advantage to dominate the collar and elbow tie up. Backs Duo into the ropes. Clean break. Duo with a kick to the midsection and whips Gendo into the ropes. Duo goes for a clothesline, but Gendo ducks it. He's off the other side and comes back with another clothesline. He nails Duo with that clothesline.
Kaji: Chibi deathscythes circling his head after he got the worst of a Gendo Ikari clothesline.
Lina: Duo snapping out of it and coming back with a boot to the midsection. Follows that with a hook of the head. He hoists Gendo up and executes a nice vertical supplex. Both seemingly going with simple holds early in the match. Gendo to his feet and Duo kicks the left knee of Gendo.
Kaji: Trying to even things it looks like, remember Duo has that bum knee.
Lina: Gendo clutching the knee already. This can't be good. Of course the guy is in what his early forties? I figure that knees probably been bum the whole time. Gendo trying to get to his feet but Duo sweeps that leg out from under him. Gendo down hard. Cover, count, one and a kickout.
Kaji: Way too soon for some like that.
Lina: Duo picks up Gendo by the hair and hoists him over the top rope. Remember this is a special cage that surrounds the ring. Gendo is on the floor as Duo climbs to the top rope. Gendo to his feet. Duo leaps, but Gendo catches him. Full body press and tosses him into the cage.
Kaji: Ouch that'll mess up your face something awful.
Lina: He ain't pretty anymore. Looks like Gendo wants to insure that as he grinds Duo's face into the chain link fencing. Duo is losing a bit of blood as Gendo goes looking under the ring for...something. And he's found it, looks like a table which he slides into the ring. Going to pick up Duo who lands a low blow.
Kaji: That was a bit low.
Lina: Stop with the bad jokes.
Kaji: Hope Gendo wasn't planning on having anymore kids to abandon.
Lina: Duo rolls Gendo back into the ring and has what looks like looks like a golf club. Wait he's still fishing under the ring, tosses in a chair, a fire extinguisher, baseball bat with barbed wire, a moogle plush, a branding iron, uh a shinai and it look like he's also got a ladder.
Kaji: When was the last time we cleaned out under there?
Lina: I think sometime last decade. Duo hoists it into the ring as Gendo starts to stir. Duo picks up a golf club and winds up.
Kaji: F..
Lina: *interrupting* Don't even think about it.
Kaji: Awwww
Lina: Nails that knee with the club and Gendo crumbles up. Duo looks to be setting up to drive Gendo's balls a couple hundred yards. Gendo has the fire extinguisher and sprays Duo in the face. Now Duo's on the ground and Gendo begins to work on Duo's injured knee with that metal fire extinguisher. Duo hurting bad. Both men hurting bad as they crawl to the ropes. Carrot Glace tossing out the fire extinguisher and...what's left of that golf club. Looks like Duo dent it with the knee shot. Gendo hobbling over punches Duo. Both men now exchanging punches. But Gendo manages a kick to the stomach. Sets Duo up and executes a DDT. Cover and a count. One, two and a kickout by Duo. The champion still has some fight left in him.
Kaji: Bah they're hardcore this is about to get interesting.
Lina: Duo with a thumb to Gendo's eyes as he struggles to his feet. Gendo still clutching that eye as Duo hobbles over with that shinai. Shot to the back. Another. A third. Now he's choking him with it. Wrapping his legs around the chest to try and choke the life out of Gendo. Gendo and Duo on their backs. Carrot Glace counting Duo's shoulders down, one, two and Duo rolls off. He tightens the hold. Gendo again positioning Duo on his back. One, two and Duo has to roll again. Gendo using the momentum and gets to the ropes. Carrot breaking up the hold as Duo decides to rearrange furniture. He sets up the table and follows up by setting up the ladder. Gendo meanwhile seems to be sucking wind.
Kaji: Things don't look good for everyone's favorite sob as Duo picks up that branding iron.
Lina: And he lays it into Gendo. He's seemingly out as Duo drags him to the table. Hoists him up onto it. Looks like he's going to drive him through that table. He's to the very tip top of it. Going for a splash. Gendo rolls off! Duo comes crashing through that table with nobody there and Gendo Ikari was playing possum. Duo ended up splashing himself through that table. Both men down and hurt as Carrot Glace is giving them a ten count. He's at five as both men get to their feet Duo's got that barbed wire bat and Gendo has...the plushie.
Kaji: He's screwed.
Lina: Duo swings and misses, Gendo with the plush doll.
*Doll bursts into flames in Duo's face*
Lina: Fire in the eyes, fire in the eyes of the champion. Gendo with a boot to the midsection sets Duo up over a chair and piledrives him through. Cover count. One, two, three. It's all over. Gendo Ikari is the new AWF champion.
*Bell*
Tenchi: Here is your winner, and new AWF World Champion Gendo Ikari.
*boos*
Lina: Gendo showing both the world title gold and the mainstream belt to the crowd as he heads to the backstage area and Miyuki for a post match interview.
*backstage Gendo has a towel over his head and the two belts over his shoulders*
Miyuki: Hard fought victory tonight Mr. Ikari, you and Duo Maxwell laid it all on the line for the crowd here in Akihabara. Any comments on the match?
Gendo: Duo fought a good fight but it all came down to mistakes and I think tonight luck was on my side.
Miyuki: You now hold two of the four titles available to a male competitor, any plans on going after the other belts?
*Spike walks in and interrupts*
Spike: Sorry to barge in on this interview but I think I need to clear something up about holding titles.
Miyuki: What's that?
Spike: Well technically we only allow an individual to hold one singles title at a time. So I'm afraid I have to strip Mr. Ikari of one of those belts. But he gets to choose which one he keeps.
Gendo: Fine, I'll keep the world.
Spike: Okay, so let it be noted that Gendo Ikari never lost the mainstream belt he has forfeited it. Next card we will have a 20 contestant Battle Royale to determine the next mainstream champion. Well I'll let you go.
Miyuki: Actually let's just go to Lina and Kaji at the booth.
*Back at the booth*
Lina: Well there you have it Kaji, Gendo Ikari is the new world champion and we don't have a mainstream champion.
Kaji: What a card, all the belts changed hands in one night, impressive singles contests and what a match for the world title. Wow people will be telling their grandchildren about this match. Gendo and Duo laid it all out. Impressive stuff.
Lina: It certainly was and on that note this is Lina Inverse for Ryoji Kaji saying good night from Akihabara.
