| Dear Letters Editor: Government schools MIS-TEACH the Bill of Rights, or pretty much pass over it all together. The 2nd Amendment is usually taught to mean that the National Guard is authorized. The 9th and 10th Amendments are TOTALLY ignored. Most emphasis is on the 1st Amendment, and even that is poorly taught (I've had two teenage boys go through the public school process, and I've seen the textbooks).
