| Dear Letters Editor: Instead of demanding that the AV Press "Limit all those prolific letter writers like Bell" (7/27), Katie Devine and Herman Sabsay should avoid a solution based on force and instead persuade others to compete in terms of volume, interest, substance, or whatever criteria the AV Press uses for selecting letters for printing. Alternatively, they can apply for the difficult job of Letters Editor, or start their own newspaper. All of my generic letters and articles are indeed on the Web in a database at http://libertarian-resources.com/letters/. Just enter "Holmes" in the author field and you'll get the subset that is mine. The letters peculiar to Antelope Valley are sent only to the AV Press. Some are published. Many are not. Marsh and Bell have invited me to visit the AV Press chat room, but I was not successful connecting with it on two attempts, and, frankly prefer exposing many potential libertarians to libertarian ideas rather than argue with two individuals. Sincerely, Bill Holmes, Vice Chair Antelope Valley Libertarian Party P.O.
