| Dear Letters Editor: There is No Global Warming! A media alert was issued by the National Anxiety Center last week in reaction to last week's heat wave. NAC noted that, "It's hot across the North American continent because it's summer. In the summer it gets hot. It has nothing to do with global warming because the earth hasn't warmed in the last fifty years." "It's hot, okay? Blame it on the sun!" Alan Caruba, founder of NAC, warns the media to be careful in attributing summer heat to global warming. He informs them that thousands of scientists around the world have signed petitions debunking and discrediting this theory. Call or write to Al Gore (202) 456-1414, vice.president@whitehouse.gov or your favorite environmental agency and tell them to stop blaming every adverse weather condition on global warming.
