The 3rd film may be pushed back from 2003 to 2004 to ensure a clear run for both Matrix sequels. It will go into production in March next year. Chris Columbus won't be directing the 3rd film but it is not decided whether he will come back for the fourth film. However, he will be involved in the production of the 3rd film. He shall be replaced by Alfonso Cuaron who directed Little Princess and Great Expectations. Since Richard Harris died, it is tipped that Christopher Lee might replace him as Dumbledore, Ian McKellan is another candidate.
The Chamber of Secrets uses the cloisters of the Glocester cathedral to film the Hogwarts corridor scenes but this time, they are also doubling up as Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.
