Please bear my child!!

Miroku is a houshii (monk) with unorthodox morals. The first thing he almost always says when he meets a beautiful woman is, "Please bear my child." He has a habit of "feeling up" women when they least expect it. For example: Sango is thanking Miroku for helping her get rid of the youkai. Then he would say something like, "Well, your slender figure kept appearing in my mind…" while rubbing her butt. I think he builds up cheek muscle endurance easily from getting slapped so often.

The other unmoral thing that he does is (Inuyasha figured it out first!): it seems that the richest house in every town seems to have evil spirits. This means that Miroku gets free lodging and meals for the “services” he does in getting rid of the so-called “evil spirits”. He also casually checks out the hime (princess/daughter) of the rich lord. *eyebrow twitch* Actually, once there was a demon in the house, he found that out by accident.

Naraku put a curse in the family line of Miroku. Miroku has that curse from which he inherited from his grandfather: Kaze ana. It is a black hole in his right hand, he can "suck" up anything into it, and they would disappear forever. But if Miroku uses it too much, it'll grow larger and one day kill him by sucking himself into the black hole. To keep the Kaze ana closed for when he doesn't need to use it, he uses a magical rosary that he wraps around his hand. Why doesn't he just use it against Naraku? Because Naraku, being the freaking evil conniving genius he is, invented the Saimyoushou, poisonous bees. If they get inside of the Kaze ana, they poison him. So then he would have to use his staff to fight. This curse would go on for generations if Naraku doesn't die, so that's why Miroku need to get a woman to bear a child for him. If he dies without killing Naraku, he wants his child to.

Miroku, being a monk, also have healing/warding powers for youkai. He has the ability to use ofuda, charms written on paper strips. He uses it on occasions such as locking Inuyasha in a hut for his own good.

Later Sango falls in love with Miroku. I'm sure Miroku likes her, it's just that the way he shows his adoration is odd: feeling her up. Then he ends up with a red hand mark on his face. (He proclaims that his hand is cursed, which it is…)
