Shippo is a fox demon. He is soooo adorable (because he is chibi!). He also has this cute fluffy tail that bounces up and down when he's excited (KAWAIIII!).
Shippo-chan first meets Kagome and Inuyasha in Eps. 9. His father had been killed and skinned by the Thunder Brothers (Hiten and Manten). He wanted to lure the brothers with Shikon Shards and kill them. So he tries to steal the Shikon Shards from Kagome. When he's running away with the shards, he accidentally runs into Manten (a really ugly hairless youkai… hehe). Kagome tries to save him, but is kidnapped by Manten (something about pretty girls make wonderful hair potion… -_-'). Shippo rushes back to tell Inuyasha and makes him get "his girl" back (Inuyasha stutters at that part… hehe).
Shippo doesn't really have any powerful attacks. All of his powers are illusions, so they just merely stall the enemy while he runs away, but he's not a coward. He's very loyal to Kagome and never wants her to get hurt. Shippo, at first, annoys the hell out of Inuyasha. There he learned that: he will always be picked up by his tail, and receive more bumps on his head from constant smacking. Then he tries to help Inuyasha, somehow, it still hurts more than helps.
Overall, he's just a really kawai youkai. I really want to tug his tail… -_-'… *ahem*
