More Of The Adoptees!

These three are the Gargoyle Muses - little monsters that fancy themselves gods and rulers of frivolous love and entertainment. The first little beasty is grey Malkin. He is the Muse of frivolous love, love for love's sake. He's the dreamer and the goody-goody of the group. The second little guy is green Morel, the Muse of musin, or deep thought. He's obviously the brains of this outfit. The third gargoyle is vivid little Marok, Muse of spices. He loves to eat and used tons of pepper on everything! An odd group, but their definitely fun to have around!

These two guys are the resident Phoenixi. They are birds of the sun, eternal flames - so don't get too close, you're looking sunburnt already! The one of the left is Qualen, and on his right is his mate, Foro. They are the first too Pheonixi to ever live here!

Ylliseth is all grown up! He's a very active little guy with a ton of personality. He so BIG! One of the largest firelizards we have here! He tends to b a little bosy because of his size, but Toren, one of our smallest, came shout him down! He can act like a bully at times, but when confronted, he gives up easy!

This innocent-looking little blue Gryphon is Salem-Nyre, from Dixey's! He's a friend of some of the dragons here, and when he heard they'd gotten homes, he came to us as well! Now he has a very important job. He is fast on his feet and small, the smallest gryphon we have here - plus he likes it! He's our official Rat-Chaser, or Rodent Exterminator, as he prefers. He likes to chase out the pests that get into the caverns and the smaller cracks in the walls. We like him a lot because of this and because he's a great - if quiet - little guy! The lovely lass he's getting nose-to-nose with is his new mate, Oro'Garra, which means "Golden Claw". Hey, what can we say? Newlyweds! Dixey's Downloadable Dragons!

These Are The Toblians - Half Fox And Half Bird!
The twins are Malenky, the male (bottom) and Herra, the female (top). The little Toblian below them is Kergin. He was abandoned and I took him in!

This little dude is Garotte, part of the gang from Sweet Water Adoptions. He has buddies all over the hold and loves to hang out with them whenever he gets the chance. He's new here and he's already friends with everybody! Wish him lots of luck in the future!

Say hello to the WingRat clan! This clan is of the Dy line, meaning all there names and their ancestors names start with Dy-. The WingRats are a very traditional group of animals. They often live in strictly nuclear families, but here they've made an exception. The blue and purple couple above are the lead couple in this group, Dy-Mancho and Dy-Mithchkana respectively. The exception to the family id Dy-Limbol, Dy-Mancho's brother whose family was killed by poachers for their wings. He was accepted back into the herd shortly after they arrived here, living alone for a couple weeks. But now, everything is fine and dandy. Dy-Limbol will stay with this group until he can find another family and begin anew. Wish him luck. Below are the children of the leaders, little pink girl Dy-Tanyal and another daughter, gold Dy-Xalii. They are both trouble-makers already, but their parents are very proud!

Don't get too close to this guy, he's big and he bites. Hard. Oh, me's not really as mean as he puts on, he's really a sweety at heart, but every so often he catches an awful mood and his mood swings quite a bit, so watch out. He came to us as an egg - no one knew what it was, so we put him and the rest of the myster eggs out in the Dragons' Weyr Lobby and waited for him to hatch. What we got was this little ball of feathers and attitiude. So much for Azrielen's luck. The first thing he did when he rolled out of the egg was try to take a finger off of the Headmistress! I guess that's why we called him Gash! Well, after some reprimands and a few strict lessons, he's back here and he hasn't bitten but one person yet. This little guy is prone to a bad attitude as well, but he's more of a grump than a fighter. He's dark by nature I guess. Gryphons are historically demure and sometimes-evil creatures, and Poch here comes from a very ancient line of gryphons, the Tai-Mos line. They were hired as guards to ensure the safelt of King Arthur's crusaders on their search for the holy grail. When the crusaders made it to the island of Avalon, where the Grail is said to remain, and found the monks who kept the Grail, the gargoyle's job was over and they've remained here ever since. Well, at least Poch's line has. Rather than try to make a life in the woods, Poch decided to come here as a homeless gryphon and has liked it and stayed. Here we have another gryphon who hatched from one of the mystery eggs. He's not as big and bad as the other gryphon, but he's pretty popular. Some of the girls are just falling over themselves for the color of his feathers! He is a very odd color for a gryphon and so was shnned when he first hatched. But since then he's done lots of volunteering and has been very involved, boosting his popularity through the roof. He's a real sweetheart and says his favorite day of the years is St. Valentine's day!
