Fairy Realm
OPEN AIRES
This area is a huge cavern with glittering rock walls. The whole cave is absolutely bustling with fairies of every shape and size. Pixy dust trails the air all around you as they come over to greet you. Some are your size and skake your hand. Some are the size of a large cat and kiss you on your cheek. Others are mouse-sized, flitting around you in quick circles. And some are so tiny that they sit on your eyebrows and laugh!

A large Fairy, almost as tall as yourself, flutters in for a graceful landing, hand outstretched. As you skake her ahnd, she scolds the tiny Fairies that are dancing all over you into vacating you head and shoulders. "I am Nexus," she says, her voice light and airy, exactly as you expected a Fairy's voice would be. "This is the Fairy Realm, home to all the Fairies and Sprites here at New Beginnings. I was chosen to be the Curator here because of my size and speed...I can easily keep my eye on all the fairies here. As you can see, some of them need constant watching!" She continues to scold the little Fairies, who only giggle in response to her anger. You can't help but giggle yourself, the little ones' laughter is so infectious! |
This gal is Glimmere, a FAYREE like Nexus. She and Nexus are even related - they are 2nd cousins, 3 times removed! OK, so it isn't much, but hey! at least Glimmere came here knowing someone! She is very sweet and lovely. She is short for her type of Fairy, but she is fast! She can outrun even the fastest firelizard! |

These little fairies are Shandi, top, and Giddy, bottom. Shandi is named for a very beautiful recurring character in my favorite comic book, The Darkness, while Giddy is...well...just that!

This is Crimson Lili, my Spirit Sprite. She can be a little flighty, but normally she's a great girl! I got her at the Wombat Warriors Base Camp. |  |

Emile, the Butterfly Fairy of Eliki, says Halloo! He can be quite a joker at times, but most of the time he is very serious. He helps Nexus run the Fairy Realm and is her official spokesperson at meetings. His position is very important and he has held it ever since we opened! | These three gals are sister pixies. The red pixie is Isayre. SHe takes care of the cooking for all the fairies here. Fairies eat a special food made from nectar, ambrosia, and fig blossoms. So far, she's the only fairy we've found that can cook it well! The blue pixie lady is Isolyne. Her and her red sister are very close. Isolyne also works in the kitchen, but she is the fairy most talented in coaxing the nectar from flowers. She also has enlisted a fleet of hummingbords to help her get to the nectar! The third, yellow, fairy is Isalbyre. She likes to clean. She thinks a clean kitchen is a happy kitchen and she makes sure every inch is spotless! These three sisters work wonders in the kitchen and are very territorial - no one they do not know personally is not to set foot on their turf - the kitchen! This lovely lady is Palime. the Golden Red Faery. She came from a chrysalis, a sort of coccoon. She hatched only a few days ago and is finally big enough to come and join us here! Welcome her heartily as the rest of the animals have! She is very loving and gentale - a perfect faery in every aspect! She loves plants and dislikes machines, but puts up with them because there are just some things that are impossible without them! She loves golden tulips above all flowers and think all flowers should be as beautiful! She even looks a little like her favorite flower! Very pretty indeed! |

The flitting little fairies around you are joined by two pretty cupids! These two lovely girls are Xyra, the Heart Cupid on the left, and Xelfyl, the Archeress Cupid on the right. They spread love and joy, warming up these cold caverns around mating season! *S* They love their job and every hopeful dragon waiting for a mate loves their visits, even if they don't bring love! They just have the best personalities in the whole cavern - full of light and laughter! |

| These two beautiful fairies are Lexyra, above, and DMetria to the right. They came to us at the same time and have been best friends ever since! Lexyra is a champion flyer and racer. She loves to race with the Pegasi in the Mystic Stables. She is our champion so far and she's very proud of it! DMetria is a love fairies. She spreads light wherever she goes and brings love to even the loneliest of hearts! |  |

 This sexy little fairy is Syndra. She's somewhat of a wild child and always has been. She thought she was going to reform school when her former owner sent her here, but we're not trying to reform her really. We think she's kinda fun! *S* |

| A beautiful fairy flitters toward you, surrounded by light the same blue color as her dress. A necklace hangs around her neck, saying "Zyrial." It must be her name. Maybe she can't speak. Her face is thin and pale, like buttermilk and reflecting the slight blue of her surrounding magic. She doesn't make a move to speak to you, but simply smiles beautifully and plucks a flower from the ever-blooming bushes, placing it in the palm of your hand. It is a tiny tulip, a blue tulip. She smile radiantly again, showing shiny teeth and full lips tinged slightly darker lue than the rest of her. SHe glitters away then, flashing her bright wings in the sun and glowing with light as the little fairies follow closely behind. Zyrial Was Adopted From: Gandul's Cottage |
