The Mystic Stables
SHA MEADOWS
The grass all around you is thick and vibrant, jeweled and lovely shining in the sunlight from the sunroof of the immense cavern. It waves in a slight breeze and you expect any minute for some mystical creature to swoop from the heavens and call for you to listen to its tale, but it does not happen. The area is completely silent! Frustrated, you almost miss seeing the small splotch of black in the grass near a boulder. The obsidian rock hides a lovely black stallion!
Curious, the young black hauls itself up to trot over and stare you directly in your eyes. The deep color swirls in an eerie whirlpool of emotion. Deep in your mind you feel the presence of the animal, speaking without its mouth. It says its name is Shilishmyst, black stallion Sha Companion bonded to the Lady Azrielen. Just as a soldier only gives the information on his dog tags when captured, the little animal surrenders nothing more of itself. Reaching up, you stroke its mane, marveling at the cool snow white strands that seem like silk and air all at once, floating between you fingers. Suddenly, the glossy stallion rears and gallops off, eyes wheeling and ears back, leaving you only with a parting apology and explanation that it's bondmate has called...nothing more than a single impression on the back of your mind.
As you trudge away feeling immensely empty, a tiny squeak that could have been a whinney catches your ears, drawing you closer to a patch of flowers growing at the base of the large obsidian rock that is the primary feature of the field around you. You move to investigate before moving on to explore the other fields of color and light set before you....
The land becomes craggy in a giant mountain-wall within the cavern directly to the East, marking the beginning of the Leaper Leys...while behind you the purpled leaves of the Copse hides their mysteries within.....
